Just curious - how do you make the background transparent for the sprites? Or in other words, not white when implemented into the game. I mean, if you were to make a set that is.

mspaint can't into transparency, go get yourself a real program like GIMP or photoshop

Still lots to do, but something to look forward to PRIDE...You have to zoom in to 200% to see the actual look. shrunk it 50% made the diamond plate look terrible in the SS.

copyrighting images are fine if you just intend to upload and share em yourself. To get tankpit official youll have to create your own graphics.

solid first attempt.

ditch the terrain. id definitely disagree with you and say it is hard on the eyes. light colors dont fare well for longterm focus on your eyes. create maybe some nice dirt, or a variation to grass, or even a darker/rusted metal surface.

id also suggest working on all your edited images and add some shade to em. itd help give character and depth. Also sticking to a theme works well cause then it makes sense on what your replacing (mines, equip, etc)

hey guys help me out and tell me which mine set you like the best. the top one is obviously the original and the rest i just came up with

and here's the fuel ( oil can ) and some ideas for equipment ( ammo crate )
i cant decide on which ammo crate even tho theyre all similar

Ugh this purple heart contest, what a pain in the cock.

Here's a rough draft of what I've come up with so far, pretty generic and definitely a bit choppy. I've also done a space theme and swamp theme, but they turned out incredibly weird and hard to work with realistically. Anyway, I used black rubber-edged mines for the mines, a gasoline can for the fuel and bullets for the equips:

I'm finding it very daunting trying to work with the mountains and water though. I've made all sorts of graphics but working with the tile sets has proven pretty challenging for me.
