He wasn't. I had a low end pph game, but was still ahead of lol. However, Eldawg was a capt, and died. Inebriated was ahead of him, and Froggy (Tugg) was ahead of them all pph wise. He just ferry rode all game.

11 minute fill. Was looking for a ferry in the atlantic ocean to fill at lieutenant because I only had 30 something ERs when I saw Sir Goofy teleport to a small island on the edge of my screen (presumably also looking for a ferry). He was apparently insufficient and trapped. I don't think anyone else noticed he was insuff and stuck so I shot down his shields and got the lucky kill. After that, I struggled mightily to fill because I couldn't find a ferry and had to fill on land, KNOWING I had to fill up on ERs or suffer the consequences later. Didn't make captain until 36th minute. At that point, frog was the only other captain, but I knew some of the top lieus (Soverign, volcom, mustache, singed) were ahead of me PPH-wise so I attemped to PPH while looking for a lieu kill. Managed to stay #2 until around 50th minute, when volcom made captain, bumping me to #3. Had a feeling I needed to make major to cup. Noticed that HerO of the DaY was being chased around a bit and wasting shields so I stalked and eventually he ran out of gas. Got lucky kill on a missile shot (sorry Sigma I knew you were 1 shot off but I don't think you would have been in top 3 at captain

) at minute 56ish. There were 3 or so lieu deaths in the last minute or so and GENOCIDE made major to jump from 5th to 2nd. I would have been bumped to 4th behind him, Frog, and Volcom if I didn't make major. Noticed that lol did very well PPHwise and got a very late kill but no time to catch up on points.

I had a bad fill but was cognizant that equip management was really important in apps because it tends to get super dry on land towards the end, and got a couple of lucky breaks

Good job, Beaver. No worries about landing the kill shot on HONOR / eldawg51...I didn't have the PPH to cup anyway, especially considering how two people made major.

I'll try again tomorrow in Castles maybe

Also, good job as well, Hayes / SORROW, and Human Abstract / Tugg / JAWS / etc.

I came in 9 minutes late, filled in under 6 minutes on land because Apps is my homeland and I know all the spots. People were lieutenant's by the time I started ranking and I was lucky enough to fill fight for a round and a half of duals on a ferry. I got a kill for cap but was still way behind in points, so, I knew I was going to have to make major ftw. I was fighting singed trying to get him low and get some of the other caps to turn on him, but, alas, Beaver felt like shooting me instead. I got too low and got sniped by 2 other players and didn't have enough fuel to teleport away. I drove around for 8 screens before biting the dust.

I'm on an awful dry spell for a cup, probably because I don't play enough tournaments.
