15 minutes and still wasn't full so I pulled points as hard as I could with what I had. Ranked to lieutenant and was 7th but ran out of ER's. Maybe if I stayed and played it out, there may have been luck to be had but I was too lazy to actually try that method. Good luck, pitters.

Joining the simpsons really suits you then. I saw the Q low. And any seasoned player knows calling raids on yourself to die in tournaments is frowned upon. Good to see you committed to the darkside fulltime.


Aside from that i had a pretty casual tournament and was in the top 5 for points with almost no effort at all, was texting my friend half the tournament. Not sure what everyone else was doing lol. Shame dudes like magic invadez or w/e, Sigma, Cracki3 and lol couldnt capitalize on the rankings :( Some obvious fucker tanks in there too like babyboy20394 or w/e.

Only my second ever:) . 12 minute fill. I maxed out my reg at 16 tanks but I am on a winning streak, so I just played one of my older tanks to keep it all on the same reg. I thought I was going to get a much better fill, as I got tones of eq in the first 4 minutes but no extra radars and tones of boxes with 5 in them. A few people had around a 6 minute fill, my jaw dropped in jealousy.

I kept to my guns and was primarily concerned with kills, apart from the odd PPH session with Incredible Beaver, who was doing really well - but I think he dropped off looking for a kill.

Chased Black Dragon when he came back in, but he was just running and then quit. He came back in again with about 13 minutes left and he kept landing perfectly on fuel - but persistence paid off and I got him eventually.

LOC-2 beasted that tournament from early on, awesome fill, awesome PPH and an early kill. Once he got that kill, it would have been a miracle for anyone to pass him.

both lol and sigma played so well. At one point they were both ahead of me, things just went my way and I had a few extra points. So close for both of you though.

Lord of War - I was out for blood with you at the end. I knew you were out of shields and I swear another 5 seconds and you were dead. If everyone in that screen only knew

What was everyone else doing? Trying to raid me to death. Legitimately lost 40+ shields this tournament TWICE because the red mafia or purple mafia (they travel in groups of 6 or more) would JUMP on me. Wasted a lot of time playing cautious / recovering my 80 shields lost. Terrible PPH...like 50k or whatever on LT, compared to my usual 70k.

Tournaments that I get the points for, I don't get the kill. And tournaments that I get a rank kill, I don't have the points. Typical

"PPH PPH everyon1 SAFE" was definitely Krusty the Clown.

I always told him how, every time I get the points (PPH well) to cup, I don't get the kill (everyone is safe because I don't kill anyone). So, I suggested making a "PPH everyone1 SAFE" tank for myself (as a play on "TPH no1 SAFE") just to laugh at my own bad luck. When I didn't make that tank, I guess he did it for me. What a clown

There is one rule in tournaments: Players are not allowed to give "free kills", which means to intentionally let someone else deactivate you. Players who violate this rule will lose their ability to play in future tournaments.

While SW has only really dropped the hammer on people who are intentionally dying to a single person, you are walking a fine line when you take a raid in a tournament. Tournaments are a competition to win, and while taking raids in tournaments may be fun - its not competitive and your likely just giving a free kill to someone. I think a fair tournament is a tournament where everyone's only motivation is to place with the best # they possibly can.

came in at 10 minute mark fought some bots to get EQs. filled up as a Corporal by 29 minute mark fought my ass off got a kill on babydawg2294 or someshit like that. was trying to 1v1 crackie but fought LOC-2 instead since oranges wanted to kill me. after that another mob started by me so i left there and fought rev 1v1 had maybe 7 shields left at the end of the tourny and no duals. it was a good tourny since i came so late. big shout out to lol, sigma, and crackie well played. lol passed me at 56 minute mark so i had to go hard.

I figured that was krusty playing that tank, but I could not figure out his motivation for the name. Thats really funny though!

yea there was no way i was gonna catch LOC-2 or any top LTs i concentrated on PPH the whole time landed a lucky kill with the red serg and pphed more. i am glad no one else got a kill though lol. and if everyone shot me on the last screen i wouldve definetly died. but i had my running shoes on lol.

Sounds like BD didn't know about the whole raid thing in touranments, he's only been back for a month or two. Cut him some slack and give him room to breath and improve. Hate how people jump on others so hard, give them a chance! If they dont change for the better, then you can let em have it. But until then, simply let them know the situation, allow them to understand and give them a second chance. Doesn't matter if theyve been around the block for a while, the TP/BF community/environment has changed since the old days and people may still be learning how things roll at this time.

I agree. Seems like raid taking in a tourney is a fine line. If you are playing the tourney to win a cup and find yourself being mobbed, I think you're okay if you want to fight back and take it on. If you are just fucking around or started playing the tourney with good intentions but find yourself out of the running and go out of the way to get mobbed, I think it's poor sportsmanship and it's a fine line as far as if that could be considered intentionally dying down. I guess it all has to do with your intentions, which is a difficult thing to objectively measure. If you're calling out "come get me" or "do your worst", it's going to be hard to defend. Just my two cents.
