PROPS/Call OUT Raid Thread (DISCUSSION)

Been dealing with the aforementioned issue for years. As soon as people start driving and you teleport out it's the best possible maneuver. Their moves will lag each other and you'll get 2-3 extra turns on the new screen because of it. Not to mention if the enemy is on the edge of your screen you can probably get 2-3 extra shots off.

took for 25+ minutes against 6 or 7 purples and enArc, 0 radars for the last 20+ screens and 30 shields when my luck for radarring without ERs with the default colonel radar ran out and landed me insufficient without fuel taking my last 30 shields.

Fluke embodies the problem of not having enough hard and fast rules on the field. His behavior (color flipping, quitting low, stealing unnecessary kills, mocking players) is absolutely bad for the game in general. Some people would say "don't whine, beat him on the field". The problem is when quitting low and color flipping is allowed, there is actually NOTHING we players can do to punish him. His behavior is absolutely rewarded and I'm just glad that there aren't many players that take it to the extreme that he does.

I challenge anyone to argue that the game would be better without players like him. Veteran players are being discouraged from playing because of these behaviors and I feel really sad seeing it happen and knowing that there's nothing I can do to punish said behaviors.

I have been trying to avoid mobbing with deserto rosso when he is playing the same color as me. I wish more people would do the same for when attention and fluke q low depot tanks are in.

I've tried to ignore his request for help messages, but the red mob ends up scaring everybody away and the only tanks remaining to shoot are preoccupied with the mob. Left with either going after the mobbed tank or switching colors and getting mobbed myself.

theintern and I shut him down hard today. Every time Il deserto rosso (red) cried, "Help - ENEMY!", theintern and I would say, "Whatever" and pursue a different opponent fight. Without us two, he couldn't get critical mass / enough firepower to kill whoever he was trying to raid...

You know, the one great thing about color switching that makes the game more fun is if I decide to switch to the minority color when reds get too numerous like they are today. I was a red colonel and there are like 17 reds, and no orange / blue / purple colonels around, so why should I play at all? No one I raid and kill will make me general; and I can't get any good PPH when the 1-2 blues / purples are outnumbered 5-to-1. So I switch to orange or purple and take a red raid instead??

if the game can't be easily changed to discourage this why not give it a bandaid and give this guy a break from the game for a bit?

TankPit is a self-governing game because there are very very few in game rules that one has to follow. I assume most players have a sense of right and wrong and of gamesmanship because many of us were introduced to this game as young teens or even younger and are now all mature adults. FOR THE MOST PART THIS IS TRUE, which is why the game is not completely overrun by Fluke types and devoid of any fun. I'm sure if the community were to be polled, there would be a near 100% vote to ban him from the game because everyone who plays knows that the game is better without him. However, the rational part of me knows that this is not fair unless there are concrete rules set in place. Kind of sad that a grown man has to be told not to act like a child, but this is the internet after all and you can always hide behind the computer screen

question for you cirno why complain about mines its part of the game makes taking a raid more challenging. I don't know what kind of people have been raiding you lately but every time i raid or am raided i expect mines if not then you aren't taking a real raid.

olympus, theintern, incontinent beaver, and myself. that's 4 solid players right there that were chasing you around. that's definitely a raid. im sure there was another guy there chasing you with us but i don't remember who. and beaver is major and you were raiding red captains... so your excuse is retarded and makes no sense.

you probably wouldn't be general if you actually took a raid and didn't marathon around avoiding them. but us captains and lieutenants do take raids and wanted to take down some high ranks to keep the ranks flowing.
