For anyone making custom tiles

In the game settings, you can now load a custom tile sheet to see how it looks.

Can we play on the tiles in game, or does it just load them and put them into a thing so we see how it looks?

nvm, it looks as tho you can play them. change of question, can you consistently play them?

You can play on them, but it doesn't save between sessions.

i was gonna do some more work to em and try and figure if i could get a 'bottom of a volcano' style. ashy ground, burnt rocks, steaming hot water. if gave some small edits to everything so youll have to try em to see what I mean.

id like if we could edit the tank sprites as well.

Currently there's no support for different tank sprites (only the ground, dust, bullets, etc). I should aim to make all sprites customizable in the future. I also need to assess whether I can make them larger.

Would be neat if in time, you could download sprite packages...

Imagine a map like d6, with a war ship package. Play strickly in water.

You can do that already. Go to the settings thing, n where it says blue tank, make it black. I fucked with purple once. Totally threw me off my game

still have ss's from when we edited tanks in x5 those many donkey years ago....if i can find it...

its easy. just save the tiles, enter the map, go to game settings and chose the file. it instantly updates. takes 5 seconds. id alsu suggest changing your map colors, which is also quick and only requires to be done once.

When the next update is live, you'll be able to upload custom sprites for any of the sprite sheets (explosions, dust, tanks - or wizards! - etc), and you'll be able to mix and match the different sheets together to play with. This will open up a whole new world of opportunity for those who want to get creative. :-)
