Why not Single Player.

Just curious how interesting would be a single player version of Tankpit. Of course some of the Rules and game play would needed to be Tweaked Advanced AI and Difficulty and how awards would be awarded. If the games servers go down for W/E reason (god forbid) we still have an essence of the game still playable.

I think it would be an interesting game if correctly made.

Are you referring to a sort of "campaign" mode (for lack of a better term)?

I've always wished there were a "Raid Mode" where a player could enter a map and basically survive the horde. You would enter as a set rank with full equipment and begin one-on-one. Empty and move up to two-on-one. Then to three, four, ad infinitum until you die. The player with the highest emptied round would be crowned as such.

Alternatively, there could be a "Time Trial Mode". A player would choose the desired raid size and survive for as long as possible. The raid would ultimately continue until the player is deactivated. The player with the longest time for each raid size would be crowned as such.

Wouldn't that be dope?

Err, Im not sure how you think that if the servers went down you could somehow access the single player which would ALSO be on the same site that is down due to the servers being down... Just throwin it out there.

Also an RPG version, FPS version, and a second-life version where people can make their own 3D tanks. After that - TankPit cereal, Tankpit automobiles (cars that look like tanks), and TankPit nation of which SW is president and which gradually takes over the entire world. TankPit universe! Why not?

Unfortunately all the aspects that make Games great now a days tankpit lacks. This is why utanks had potential, they wernt scared to go out of the way to make the game better.
