Tournament Point Ladder Changes
Hey everyone.
SW has brought in the ability to view all of our cups from our account screen, and this has been a fantastic update. Because of this, the need to record cups that are not claimed is no longer required. In fact it is only making the list more cluttered and not really needed since if or when a person wants to prove they have won X amount of cups - they can just take a screen shot of their account screen and everything speaks for itself. This will eliminate the need to put all those "one time use" tanks onto the list, and than have the task of removing them after they are claimed - if they are ever claimed. The only reason we did it this way was because theoretically a person could only claim ownership of a tank/cup on the list if it was unclaimed. If it wasnt on the list, that means that it was already claimed (or never recorded
).
From this day forward, only cups that are claimed will be eligible to be listed on the tournament points ladder. While we are discussing this, please claim your cup no matter how obvious you think it is. Unless you make a post claiming your tank - it will remain unclaimed and therefore off the tournament points list. The only exception to that will be if a person plays their publicly known main tank, this of course does not need to be claimed.
Please speak now if you have any objections to this change.

You may be right. I think it is beneficial for some aspects of my life, but it may slow me down in others.
I do believe that this change is beneficial though. Keeping track of really old unclaimed tanks is just so prone to human error and just not needed anymore.

true. ive only listed every cup in the past because early in tp1 and tp2 it was nice to see all the cups on the list and there wasnt much secret players. now though i doubt i can even pick out a single person in the last 50 tournaments. people should claim their cups if they want to be on the list. you could even remove unclaimed cups if you want

Yes, I may do this in the near future. I want to do this with a fine tooth comb though, to avoid deleting real tanks as apposed to one time use tournament tanks. I am not sure it really matters anyways, since they would be at the bottom of the list, and unnumbered - but I am still mulling it over trying to determine all pros and cons.

This should be fine as long as there's no way someone could somehow try to claim a cup twice.
