Just some minor things...
If I quit in the middle of a battle, it is likely because of a browser issue (I use Safari).
So I'll have to quit Safari and open it again. This shouldn't take more than 5 seconds. So please bare with me if I quit and then come back within 5 seconds. This happened today against Battlefield-2 (the blue one) and WaRhEaD. I apologize.
On another, more important, note: I think we should make SW give himself an award for all the work he's put into Tankpit. SW, get on it!

Yeah no problem bro. I have a similar problem, and I often go uncontrollable and leave the game low. My modem seems to be dropping/restarting often. I did something tn to my internet connections. and it only happened 2 times since.

When I quit with low fuel and multi tanks shooting me, its definitely cause Dr. Dre is at my door with a private jet and I cant keep him waiting, not at all cause Im afraid of a pixellated death, I swear.

The only thing is that sometimes when I have Safari open too long, the cursor becomes like it would becomes in a word document (letter 'I' looking thing) instead of an arrow, the usual mouse point. That makes it harder to click on yellow fuel dots on the map. So I have to quit and reopen Safari. But hopefully Chrome doesn't have that same problem.
but yeah, excuses, excuses, right? lol

Safari and Chrome for me do this weird thing when i fire using the space bar, the cursor disappears for a second. That bugs the shit out of me so i dont use either of them.

I'm playing on a Mac and have used Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
1) Firefox - Best balance between performance and consistency (smoothest, fastest gameplay with little to no "glitches" or flaws in animation or nagging click/sound/etc issues)
2) Chrome - On par with Firefox's performance but I found that, on my Mac, there were many more small, frustrating issues.
3) Safari - I can take a better raid on a baked potato.

chrome creates duplicates of itself and uses a ton of bandwidth or whatever. id suggest firefox.

Chrome is optimized for multiple cores, like your typical 4-core now. The individual processes are just the different plugins you have running within Chrome, like AdBlock, which is the only extra I have. Open 100 pages in Chrome and 100 pages in Firefox, Chrome can handle it because of the optimization, Firefox becomes slow and unresponsive.
I do think FireFox runs the game better, but for some reason my game continually crashes in FireFox after this new HTML5 update. Probably just need to update my browser, as I rarely use it otherwise. I do think Chrome works better with HTML5 than it did with Java though. Although large mobs cause me to lose turns pretty often now, when that didn't happen before.

Personally ive tried tp on firefox and found it to be slower and a lot more choppy. Chrome works excellent. But then again my set up is so old school it doesnt really apply much to this situation hahaha

Supposedly:
Firefox is better than Chrome for Java
Chrome is better than Firefox for HTML5

Firefox is better than Chrome for Java
Chrome is better than Firefox for HTML5

I played internet explorer and just dominated everything and didn't care. a skilled player can make a shitty system work for him.
