Negativity?

people bitch about negativity when tbh, we need more of it. there's players like weenie boy who hugged his general for a month+ and got praised. SQUID1 (who is probably SQUID6) taking fks for stars to get better pph, and when I mention it in blast chat a (former) very respectable player who's now just moderately respectable says nbd. team tanks that go only for pph. people bragging about getting a shining sword in PRACTICE. this player base is the softest it's been in over a decade. we need some real players back like zub who went hard as fuck for all of his game play and took 180 hours to hit general. players like 987 who critiqued everyone's play for the greater good. not scrubs who only play in certain situations.

i have taken it upon myself to call out any and all nooby bullshit nonsense. don't like it? too fucking bad, call me TROv2.

this game got soft many months ago and all the threads i created to call out losers and idiots in an attempt to straighten things out were promptly moved, deleted or closed by speshul folks whose name lights up in a very speshul font.

It took me under 2 hours to get it on Skullcruncher because the transformers were actually active and people were willing to die in raids (or even attempted to take them). I fully support this motion Hurley.

Lancehead gets owned in a 3v2 and cries like a fucking girl after quiting low the first time . I kinda sorta raided you on my gen because i didn't feel like shooting bots hurley and you bitched about it. It's just a fucking game theres no need to push anyone to play the way you want them to. Let them play however they want to,it's no wonder no noobs stick around they get bashed into oblivion at the first typical noob manuever they pull. Un fucking real.

I don't think negativity is the ideal way to encourage players to adopt unwritten rules (nor build an attractive environment or cohesive community for that matter)

Actually, being outwardly negative to anyone could make them liable to ignore your advice in the future. I really don't see it as a respectable way to behave and in the long run negative attitudes might do more harm than good.

I think there are better avenues to explore.

Imo there's a big difference between straight up negativity and constructive criticism / calling out. We don't have to like everyone else's game play. What I have an issue with is people just not owning up to their shit / feigning innocence. If you play like a shithead expect someone to call you out, but don't get pissed when it happens because 95% of the players in this game know better.

Either way. Game is kill or be killed.

Call it what you want, but it was a huge disappointment when I died due to my teammates lack of teamwork. What happened was unfortunate for me and fortunate for you because you had REFORM who happened to be a very good teammate in that situation. I already told you when stupid shit happens, I'm not happy about it. If you bitch about me quitting low in retarded situations when I took a raid the minute before i quit out and happened to come in and shoot off the rest of my 8-10 duals (had 18 armors and about 6 er's), I will quit low next time in bullshit ass situations. I was not even close to being able to take that first time I quit out. So stop crying aloud trying to get everyone's attention to bash on me. I thought we closed this out last night.

IMO, play for fun (for yourself) and lead by example.

I decided to play "secret"/avoid 99% of the community because I got tired of everyone bitching and people being annoying.

I say "secret" because my intention wasn't to mislead everyone and pop in swinging boasting about how awesome I was etc... it was just to play for fun.

Everyone has different reasons for playing the game. Some like repetitive tasks (killing bots), others like competition (tournaments), and others yet like to prove their skills (raiding/raid-taking).

That being said, some people lack emotional maturity and will continue to be stupid whether you bitch at them or not.

my point is not to bitch seb you hater. the game isnt even fun for me when i have the same people raidng me yet they marathon/q in all similar situations and claim its 'tactical'. ive already pointed out more scrubness from the elite noob of the last few months, and will continue to verbal all scrubs in the future.

i have played the same way since the first reincarnation of tank games and probably 99% of players know what im about on the field, so leading by example has failed. verbaling is fun anyway because people really believe im speaking what i type :tehfunny:
