The obvious desperation for awards from everyone here and you think only a handful of people are going to go pay for it? and I'm the ignorant one? C'mon you of all people should know what it comes to about buying awards since you've already done so for willys old tank?

Congrats to Lucy and Kyle for being the only two to do it for the game. But the only reason this has blown up YET AGAIN is because Kyle is a child. Lucy didnt rage quit or delete his tanks / give them out cause he didnt win his 3rd award. This is pretty much all a public cryout cause Kyles having a tantrum over not winning his 10th?. Also I'm willing to put money down that once kyle was awarded a WC for the adwords, he wasn't going to pursue it anymore since he got what he wanted, or he would probably expect a WC for every month he kept adwords going.

It's nothing more than blatant selfish bullshit IMHO. And to be completely honest most WC entries are like that. Go ham for a month promoting the game, making sites and so forth, then get the WC and quit. Which is why WC should be what it was originally meant to be, rather than people just making shit for nothing and then dropping it after. Id rather a newsletter like how it used to be with entries we could all see. Hell id rather see a fucking poem win this shit again.

Fuck it why not just make bronze dot and silver dot a donation scale award. 200bucks = bronze dot 500 bucks = silver. Settled.

Yes, if someone pays alot of money out of their own pocket and win an award they have permission to stop paying money out of their pocket. after that someone else can carry the torch and pick up where they left it. If the circle that will continue to occur and is ultimately good for the game. In fact, that entire statement from sw shows the level of competence he has on awarding players to begin with considering hes automatically looking down at these people who are 'desperately' and 'selfishly' contributing to his game in expectation of maybe winning the award they qualify for.

We are the true Definition of a War Correspondent. We went out of our way and Corresponded the Tankpit War to over 500 new recruits, So they would join the War we Corresponded them too. "tankpit":wc:

Nahoes and SW sound retarded and are looking at this the wrong way. This is the best thing ive seen for the game. If people wanted to continue advertising tankpit, I wouldn't blame them for not now. But you could pick the best advertiser every 3 months and award a Wc, Not everyone that does something like this should win, as every game review posted did not win. So there won't be 100 people winning Wcs from advertising like Nachoes said. Same as every other award only the best are chosen.

who cares how many specials are awarded each quarter, 1 or 100. as long as the submissions for the winners are quality submissions. I don't see why more than 2 players cant win a war correspondent every 3 months just because their submissions weren't as good as the two winners.

This is not going anywhere.. Nachos one thing is certain. We are in a beta version of tankpit as SW stated before. This is the time for error and correction. Senior players of the community have invested for the betterment of the game. Now wether we get awarded or not is not the issue at this point. The issue is logical explanation as to why not (which sw explained to me). Now that we know such efforts don't award players we need to a. Add this to the site and b.exclude bfunity out of such discussions.

If SW believes its not worthy than well leave it at that. If other players are going to argue on the forum and take sides its just going to cause more stress which we don't need right now. The flame thread is already at max thread limit ..

I do stand buy one thing.. Paid ads are not by any means a way of buying awards. Its an idea of advertising the game which cost money. We were the first to do it. Hypothetically speaking if we were to be awarded the next person after us to pay on facebook or google should not get awarded because that mean of advertising was already used ( more to say that idea)

edit* question : If a player invest in an ad that brings exposure why not award the player ? Show me one ad/blog that has helped tankpit ?

If we really want to encourage players to right journal submission for wc than do it the original way and bring back the WC section on tankpit.com like Bf had.

lolol its kinda funny. I was mainly mad about this because I thought lucy won his Wc from his facebook ad, So I felt like I got screwed over. But still I dont see why the 1st people to do each type of ad/advertisements,exe: Google Adwords/Facebook/Yahoo/... should not be awarded something for being the first to find these methods and pursue them and see results they deserve something. I think Lucy should get a WC for being the first find this method of helping Tankpit. I dont want one because I will never play it.

There are numerous players who have donated more $ than Kyle or Grimlock and not received any award for it. It wouldn't be fair to those players to start giving out WCs in this manner, without going back and awarding them too.

But donating money and spending alot of time finding the right set of keywords and putting that focus into advertisements for the game is a completely different thing. Obviously you cant acknowledge the difference which is fine im sure no one is going to jump up and advertise the game for you now. You probably dont care (as the success of this game really isnt a major factor to you now or ever) but hey atleast stay consistent in what you do.

And doing thing in expectation of an award is fine, i repeat, fine. I work for other people and expect to get paid. some guys volunteer and dont ask for anything, doesnt change the fact that im getting something for my work or I wont work at all. This is how life works. SW you have a valuable commodity that people will spend mass amounts of time, energy and money to achieve. dont act surprised when thats the main reason anybody helps selfish ass. Especially any utanks players helping you. You should just be appreciative of the servitude but youve never been one to be grateful about anything and I have no idea why myself (or others) have continued to give you so much aid when you yourself have stated youre looking for a way out of this game.

If/when another reincarnation of this game comes up I bet thatll be the version that nails it and puts petty differences aside and successfully uses the mass amount of assistance at their disposal.
