kill/death log

How this hasn't been implemented is beyond me, but I proposed this years ago to playbf and figured I'd get yalls take on it.

Every tank that you deactivate gets logged and placed onto a page on the site for you to keep track of. Same for the people that deactivate you. This would be a great way of tracking rivalries and helping remember who you own or owe a kill to. Just food for thought.

What about a k/d ratio like in CoD, Halo, etc.?
One that does players only and total.

Well you can already figure that out since it lists your kills and deaths. I was thinking more along the lines of keeping track of who exactly you killed and were killed by

People keep head counts of how many actual players they've killed as opposed to bots?

Hey Cdub,
This is an AWESOME idea. And to spin it further, they could put a Tab between Guide and Bulletin Board (on the Main Page) titled "Daily Activity." A person could click on Daily Activity and see every kill for that day (bots excluded). Just name the two parties, the De-activatee and the De-activator. I would hope this report could be computer generated, it would be sooo much easier and reliable verses us humans trying to report-in. See all the de-activations for the day would probably curb the free kills that go on (like last nights Red Giant to simpl287).

This would be really easy to implement. Export the data into a file that the game creates whenever a deactivation occurs, and create an automation that takes the data and puts in on a page on the site. Would be awesome. This is a really good idea. Would give more incentive in the game.

Yeah I agree, I think that if this is possible it would be really interesting to scroll through the daily kill log and see who took out who. This could also be used for tournaments and could perhaps have a deterrent effect on free kills

Some sort of activity log for the main page is on the TODO list. (Kills, awards, anything else...?)

An activity log for individual accounts or tanks might be a good thing to have, too.

not using something because utanks did it is a bullshit excuse and isn't in the best interest of the players at all. any ideas suggested should never be compared to utanks or associated with utanks in any way. when making decisions for improving the game it is best for the game if it is pretended that utanks never existed and how positive the change would be for tankpit in the now. just because utanks did it or not doesn't make it a good or bad idea at all and shouldn't ever be the deciding factor and reason for shooting an idea down. thank you.
