Ranking in Practice
As much as i have always liked the classic practice where you can only rank to private. Wouldn't it be more beneficial for newbs if say they could rank to sarg or lt? Help them understand the rank system more, how the equipment increases, and how after sarg you have to kill a rank below you to rank.

I think ranking up to lieut makes sense so that people would understand the need to kill a corp in order to rank. Anything more then that and they can go to the main map.
It is easier to fight for principles
than to live up to them.

Yessah.

A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
