So... Equipment can promote you?? Never knew..

Just started dicking around on practice, picked up an equipment and it promoted me from Recruit to Private! Interesting... Notice the "congratulations" in the bar.

This was a thing in BF too. I guess it has been reimplemented.

wow. When I read this topic title it brought back a memory flash. If I remember correctly you could get promoted from EQ boxes up until Sergeant.

Was quite annoying to run into one of these in a tournament. That said, I hope they haven't been reimplemented in tournaments...

Honestly, if the promotion eq's came up with a probability of 1/1000 or something like that (seeing as you need anywhere from 30-45 to top off as a recruit in tournaments), I think it would add a new dimension to tournament play -- a new challenge to refresh the dynamics and to give experienced players something new to adapt to.

Promo eq are essentially useless lol. They're strictly a little bonus for big newbs.
