Yes it did, time was the same regardless your color. Playing red/orange/blue/purple all gained the same time. :l

Yes I think time should count for different colors like it always did back in Battlefield, no reason it shouldn't.
edit: everyone saying time didn't transfer is a huge battlefield noob.. lmfao chris....... you guys have horrible memories
At least SOMEONE else recalled. Seriously, this should be common knowledge. Time 100% xfered. ISO more color flippin noobs to confirm further. Ppl used to use that excuse for shit pph at swords sometimes, "I wasted time on color xyz frownyface" etc
Envy wrote:Time most certainly DID CARRY OVER. Do you guys not remember people sitting their tanks in on recruits on diff colors to lame swords?
loling the more and more I read. How can anyone forget this shit :C too many drugs for you guys apparently. Stats carried, number aside basically

Could limit the color change IE when you switch to red from blue you are not allowed to change colors for another 24 hours

I agree. It would also require fairly large changes, so not worthwhile IMO.

Might encourage these blues or the majority color players to play another color if they know that the time they put forth counts towards their overall accrued time.. Some people play to get shiny/battered/rusty sword, other people play for PPH and could give 2 piles of dog shat if this was implemented.
How many people would actually do this? Right now you're right, not enough to make this worthwhile at the moment but maybe something to remember for down the road.

This goes back to having awards reset on each colour also. This means the 10 tanks an account can hold would now be 40. 4 diff award sets for each tank. - everything else is reset, playing different colours depends on what awards show.
Easy route tho, make the tank 4 times and play a different colour each time.

I'd rather people just have the ability to switch colors and have the stats go with them minus their points.

Question: how come this (and some other small things like shot angles, etc) weren't already part of the game when you originally acquired it? Or were they there but... corrupted or something?
I've just been thinking that if you acquired the code for BF, it should already be BF. So I don't understand why the game is different in the first place. Why are there all these inherent differences?

If memory serves, time carried, but points did not. Not sure about kills or deaths, tbh. I'm a little foggy on that one. I remember time vividly because I was surprised when TP1 was around and the time didn't carry over when I switched from red to blue.

deaths did not carry. Some players would changed colors take the deaths for the award and flip back to main color. Also, time carries but not the #.

I think deaths/kills carried too, I think you had to change maps to escape death counts. Wasn't ever as easy as just changing your colors.
Remembering a situation where I traded my tanks around and it seems like I had little to no options regarding existing deaths. Also seem to remember my rocks cujo having combined deaths as well.

I don't remember any stats every carrying over between colors (I played red and blue, same tank, on CM, but just blue everywhere else), but I could be remembering it wrong. Seems like alot of people remember it differently.

ima just throw my 2 cents in here...
From what I can recall, and I am fairly positive about this, stats did not transfer to another color. I recall ranking all colors on my FI tank to take perfection raids. And I only did it for awhile until I got close to that death medal mark and bronze tank mark on each color...
Your stats wouldn't transfer.

Why dont you make it so once you pick a color, you cant change ever? i mean honestly there no real point to switch over unless you want to rank up for raids, and you can do that on some other tank you make. I like the idea because it makes people think harder about what color they want to stick with and then everyone can associate that tank name with that color forever.

Sunnywuf's tank garage should just open up for full customization. Names can be changed for a price, I don't see why stats shouldn't be allowed to transfer for a fee as well. Limited number of transfers in a given time period, say, one per year. The stats from the new color should be transferred to replace the old data. For example, if a blue tank switched to orange, the orange stats will be the new blue stats, provided there are any.
I definitely thought about this after the name changes were permitted. I could change back to lefty and be orange lol. Or to InYoUrLeFtEyE and be purple. The investment at this point is too great to bother starting over. I'm not BASEDGOD after all. (who am I, Fluke, Sujo)
