Sub Section BFU

I was thinking if the community likes it to add another section under tankpit but titled Tank Biography that people can make their own thread bios on each tank. Similar to what Bf-5 and other tanks have done but open to all to add their own stats tell the story of why they named their tank that. I know everyone has a story behind their tank some not as great as others but still there nevertheless.

We've been talking about this in the mod section but it just kinda stalled.

You can add on from there if needed but those are the basics. We obviously don't need to rush this so we can take our time to perfect it and at that point I can just go start the GD topic and get the train moving.

Also thinking that as long as we would possibly link this to the top100 list, we may as well just have the entire community participate imo. Would be nice to have for future players to look at, current players to look at, and just in terms of something fun for the community to partake in.

That was about where we got, and we were going to link top100 tanks to their bio page that they created. Obviously the template wasn't set in stone and could be changed by the individual player if needed/they wanted to.

There was talk years back on bfunderground maybe? or elite? Where it was going to have a home page, every player would have a player profile etc...

I'm sure there was an introduction topic where players could make a post to introduce themselves and their tanks.

I love this idea though, maybe a new forum where players can make 1 post, that topic is then auto-locked (or locked by a mod) to stop flaming etc...

The player could add all past history, dream awards, future goals etc... maybe it can be in alphabetical order? (not sure if possible unless a mod does this?)

^ just snowballing, really good idea. You mods should get back to discussing it.

Well since SW plans to keep the forums and Tankpit two seperate entities, as long as the game grows and stays consistent I can work on a website for bfunity.. I just want to make sure I wouldn't be wasting my time, like a uTanks shut down persay if you get my drift.

Ya I'd say start with just a subsection on bfu. Allow players to put in the work setting up their bio etc, and then if time shows it is worth it to build it up on the site it shouldn't be hard to integrate it from there.
