"wait for move" and nothing happens glitch

happens to me occasionally. still cant tell if it's faulty clicks or glitch, so far and in between it hasn't really bugged me much. Never two raids in a row

I've had it occur on an empty screen, raiding someone and while getting raided.

Rare but still often enough to notice a trend.

you said a trend is evident, do you recall the particulars surrounding those situations? was the fuel covered in friendly mines or no?

there's probably one small factor that contributes to clicks not registering in certain scenarios and we just have to figure out what that is, because i don't think the system just randomly fails to execute a move, there has to be a reason for this :hmmm:

i havent been paying attention enough to determine if there is some sort of trigger that causes it or not or what it may be

i havent been paying attention enough to determine if there is some sort of trigger that causes it or not or what it may be

Been doing some in game wait to move tests.

It isn't situational but rather related to playing style. Most "good players" are in the habit of short teleports so they don't actually move as often as some people may. I however am fairly 50/50 this seems to drive the frequency of which I have encountered the "glitch"

I did some testing and sent SW a diagram of what I did and how I recreated it. I'm not sure whether or not it's DoT worthy because like SW said it may be related to soft clicks BUT I made sure to fully press my mouse button on each move.

i figured out what was causing it yesterday but i stopped posting because obv i want a dot for it. good job if you recreated it though with the specifications that you hear the click to move and you see wait for move along with the turret pointing there and nothing happens. also its not soft clicks its fast clicks, your computer and mouse cant sense how soft your click is, only how long youve held it down for. but seeing that you are doing full clicks i wonder if you found something different than myself

We created the same thing, although my outline also indicated that timing of clicks between moves was the issue at hand.

how is it the timing between moves? ive tried clicking to move after teleports after radaring after planting mines and after shooting with and without the hotkeys to test this specifically and wasnt able to recreate it. so what are you talking about?

What BOSS7 submitted was to click again before you finished driving and your turret will move without actually driving. I'd say that isn't really a glitch at all. Just have to wait until your last move finished before you move again... lol.

sometimes if i have a fast click my turret will turn but i wont even get the wait for move. i like to fast click once whenever people start driving or whatever and then spam click the fuel can or side of the equipment or w.e they're driving to.

then sometimes i get a double shot off rofl

well yes BUT it gives the wait to move message is there a way to eliminate that message from showing up if the move isn't actually processed?

the waiting for move message doesnt show up when i try bosses method. neither does the sound play

infact i never even knew this timing existed. no wonder sherman thinks its not a glitch

I have had this a few times I have found random things happen when I click on fuel then move the mouse over a tank and hit the space bar in anticipation of my next move random things happen
95 % of the time I move to fuel get hit a few times fire back (Great that is what I am expecting to happen )
1 %nothing happens tank stays still and gets hit all over again I re click on fuel wait it moves (sucks)
1% I get a message saying empty container but the tank doesn't move to the fuel I get hit a few times re click then move to the fuel it is usually not empty (sucks)
1 % the move to fuel doesn't happen but I do fire of a shot (sucks)
1% I get the you can't do this message and keep getting it every second message until lay off the space bar (sucks)
1% I get the shits and cry as my tank gets deactivated
seems only to happen when a few other tanks are on the screen shooting and I am using the space bar the message comes up wait for move I have heard the click and then place the mouse pointer over my next target and hit the apace button
Also only one time this happened the game speed up like I was catching up from a lag spike but it stayed fast then when I moved I could see two of my tanks on the fields at the same time and the tanks shooting me where getting 2 shots each in order weird but I loved it while the speed was their lasted about 3 mins till it froze and I saw 2 tanks
