lets see some top ten lists. im a bit busy right now but heres some things we can judge on:

overall
1) stefan- gotta give it to this guy, in the short amount of time he played i think everyone agreed he was by far the best player. this guy was crushing every tournament, destroying 15v1s, and just a straight up boss. he put a good 50-60 hours in if i remember correctly than pretty much stopped playing to help develop the game. true hero.

2) Kacy- nothing more to say really. Realistically, with the sheer quantity and sample size kacy has he should easily be number 1, and im a little bias putting stefan there but kacy was definitely top top tier. he was one of the most consistent raid takers in the game. i seen him take a raid around the map, than around the other way and still spam raid me while they all had to fill with 0 ers. straight up beast.

3) kylemac- probably on the same level as kacy just not as consistent. kyles consistency was a bit lower because he liked to do things alot of people wouldnt try, like taking raids with no armors or not using hotkeys. i remember once we raided him in white sands with like 14 people and he took the greatest raid ive ever seen. i remember turning around and checking his armors because he was breaking every teleport. I stopped raiding him when I seen 50 armors and just watched. he ended up dying after going insuf with 45 armors.

4) evolv- guy has by far the highest kill percentage out of everyone in all games, combined. I mean this guy would tag our early bf raids and walk away with 9/10 kills, every time. the only one who could maybe have maintained the same kill percentage was nativebloods, but he too was on another level. evolv also probably has the highest goldcup to tournament ration in all games. this guy didnt enter a tournament unless he was going to win gold.

5) stud- another top top tier player. had it down on all aspects of the game. top notch raiding, top notch tournament player and one of the most clutch raid takers in the game. this guy held it down for us on more than one occasion giving us the upperhand in battles.

6) zub- one of the most respected players in the game. this guy was basically the el dawg of utanks with a bite. anything was possible when he played. guy could take one of the best raids in the game on any day. also was extremely consistent in all aspects. a must have team member.

7) SR- same as stud. guy could get it done. was a consistent tournament player, and one of the most consistent leaders in the game. theres not many people who can start a team and maintain it the way sr can. him and his team have brought me some of my best memories in this game.

8) Zeus- cujo was easily the best during his time. this guy was redic when it came to raiding. sean swears by cynder but id swear by cujo as being the fastest player in a raid. it got to a point where I would look for cujo in the raids on me and not shoot him so he has full fuel. #strategies

9) nu cru-I think alot of people forgot about nu crus caliber, and back in his prime he was on the same level as zeus for best during that period. this guy too could take the biggest mobs and make them look like the digitz third line. he disappeared though and never returned, strange.

10)cypj/matooa/sherman- any of these guys could be anywheres from 3rd-10th on this list on any given sunday. infact, theres so many players that are top tier quality where a top ten doesnt really give justice, as anyone can be interchanged. I first discovered cypj in a tournament, where he took on a mob of about 13, and survived, twice. obv after that he had to be on the team. matooa was one of the early beta allstars, and also a huge secret for quite some time. it only took about 3 days before i knew matooa had to be on the team, and sherman was just an all around beast. destined to be top tier nahmean.

like i said, this list can be interchanged in basically every way, with multiple other people. theres alot of people who probably deserve to be on here, but these are the guys ive seen the most of and have impressed me the most.

almost essentially the same as above+ james bond and some other aaa+ pphers.

contributions
1) Stefan- he started out as a player and became one of the leading forces before the development of the game. proved himself to be one of the best in game, and one of the best/most effective assets outside of the game.

2) Zub- dude contributed somuch to the game in so many ways. whether it be big donations, administrating the forums, giving up tournaments to moderate them, or going above and beyond the typical beta tester duties he did it.

3) Savin Ryan- Pretty much the same as zub. he made two a+ maps when the map editor took dozens if not hundreds of hours to produce quality. he was definitely rewarded for it as well, winning two of only a very few of the gold cartographers.

4) sean- He definitely went way out of his way for the game. his specialty however was composing tl;drs that sparked great debate, usually producing something great. he also created the tournament schedule every month, which was by far one of the best schedules ive ever seen.

5) rated/joel- when they asked me to re do the entire award set the first person I messaged was joel seeking help. joel (and1) gladly accepted and we instantly got to work. we actually stayed up throughout the entire night and the entire next day to produce a version 1 award set, which is still being used by the utanks website (in game awards are updated, website is version 1 awards) rated created all the game sounds and contributed via maps and other methods.


best solo players
1) sherman- guy went ham for his hours, and beasted more raids than most. definitely deserves this spot.


best leaders
1)SR- not many people can lead top tier teams that outlast everyone else and stay consistent. hes definitely one of them.
2) sean- just like sr, this guy can start a team on the whim and have some of the best players behind him ready to throw down mad hours.
3)zeus- this guys produced one of the most consistent, respected teams in all of utanks, the gods. was great battling him.
4)tugg- guy could get shit going. unfortunately for him he dabbled in some dumb shit and quite often made a fool of himself. however when he was on he was on, and his team definitely was no joke.

You are missing a category: Overall worst player. I think at this point it's a legitimate category, not necessarily intended to start a flame-fest. We've had a large enough sample size to do this. I am truely touched and honored Sylar, thank you. It really means a lot that i was able to do great things on the field and can be recognized amongst the greatest players the game has seen by some of the greatest players. I thank you again.

and for winter's "best solo players - sherman probably (he wasn't active on any team that I remembered, could be wrong)" I am a loyal teammate as Battlefield-99 (40 hours) and ApricoT JuicE (20 hours) and regret not doing more for my peers. and i would say the STAR's were as successful as they possibly couldve been given the state of activity and i enjoyed leading them when it was possible as -rock-STAR (10 hours). so no, i would say comparatively i was not an active team mate at all on the field given how much time i was actually on the teams, but i am incredibly loyal to sylar, kyle, and stud for the bfs, and matooa and zub for the juices and defended my team mates the best i could when i felt i had to. i feel i am better known in utanks as a solo player although i had two amazing teams backing me up.
