I'm not sure why you can't send pm's. Sounds like you may need to talk to talk to an admin about that. Hopefully one of them sees this thread but if not, I'm sure someone can pm them on your behalf.

Tankpit is a new game started in Jan. 2012 and restarted in the fall of 2012. You'll have to make a new tank as old bf tanks can't be recovered. You can use the same names though.

Edit: also if you remember your old bfu forum name, an admin can change your password and you could get that account back if you want. Another thing, this is the utanks section which is another game. There are two games: battlefield's reincarnation as tankpit and a new game called utanks. The forum may a be a little confusing to newcomers with a tankpit general discussion, utanks general discussion, and regular general discussion so no worries.
