the only people who fell for it was KILLER12 and the new tp community. i always hated what's his name but i can tell when someone is going to be genuine. and given the current circumstances i dont think he will cheat for at least the first 6 months of the game imo. so theres no reason to hate on him CURRENTLY. down the road who the fuck knows what he will want to do though

Skimmed but TBH I think people who were blatant/repetitive cheaters in Tankpit 1 shouldn't even be allowed to play tournaments in Tankpit 2, for an indefinite period of time; and this is regardless of who they become as a person on the forum or as a player on the main field. Tournament cheaters have never been truly punished before. Go ahead and punish the cheaters for who they once were, even if they aren't still cheaters now. Once they feel as though their punishment is an injustice it will truly mean something to them to be punished.
Unbanned since I did nothing wrong. Kirby punish somebody for what they once was? So if somebody changes for the better in any circumstance you would want them punished still even of its years later? What about a person who does some petty thefts because they have no money to feed their family. It's still wrong of them and they should be for ever punished for it?
I wasn't going to post again but just wanted to make the points that there are some power hungry fags here, also a bunch of fags in general ( people know exactly who I am on about because try think the same ) I also wanted to show how I was unbanned because of a complete faggot banning me simply because he doesn't like my posts when there hasn't been a single 'brag' about cheating. Fucking retard can't understand posts on a forum, awesome mod.
Anyway, bye again you will be surprised in a few months.
Edit: people are stupid, I'm not crying over a 1-2 even a week or month ban. I'm just mad that somebody has the power to ban me because they don't like my posts, I didn't cry once when baha gave me my weekly ban because it was funny and I understood why. Sylar made up excuses like a complete dick.
Tldr .... Eat shit.

Whatever happened to clean hard fun competition? If tournaments come back I'm begging you guys to keep them clean and play them how they're meant to be played. the past is the past and honestly if tournaments in tankpitv2 are like tankpitv1 ones then they should stay off!

look at this bitch rofl. I banned you for two days, 1 day because youve been here for a week and i havnt used my 1 day yet, and another day for stirring stupid shit up saying dumbass shit like 'look at me...' and 'i promise i wont cheat again i wanna be legit'
i told you the day you were unbanned, stfu. dont mention your cheating, dont mention what youve done or how many raids youve taken or the lesson youve learned. nobody wants to hear that shit, and it just causes a shit storm. youre on the forum for one reason, to read the updates in terms to tp2.0 nothing else.
now stop your damn crying and realize you dug your own damn hole, not me, not anyone else. you deserve 100% of the hate you get and some.

anyone thinking hes going to change is obviously easily gullible. idc at this point, so long as his nonsensical idiotic posts stay the f off this forum, do what you want. however, there is some promise to stopping cheaters and im rather hoping what's his name falls in the same trend as im sure sw will remember all the bs from the past 2 (and probably realistically 7) years.
good luck what's his name. im rooting for you (to get anaconda'd from tp)

As a former cheater come clean I can honestly say that playing and winning the tournaments fairly are 100x more thrilling then simply cheating. A monkey could cheat and cup in tankpit over half the community, but it takes skill when everyone is on the same playing field. One of the main reasons I cheated for a quick cup was being screwed over countless times by the same cheaters myself. Long post short tournaments need to remain competetive in order for me to have fun playing, and cheaters take that away from everyone. I am firmly for harsh punishment/bans for repeat cheaters in the new tankpit era.

ye. there are maybe 5 or 6 cups out of about 300 between bf/ut/tp i would [x] as cheated under my definition, which probably puts me well outside the top 10.
def gotta be near #1 at free killing in the regular map tho, but thats a victimless crime so get @ me

@what's his name sorry if my post sounded like it is about anything other than Tankpit.
But yes. I believe anyone who was a cheater in v1 should be punished in v2. Some people only take punishment seriously when they don't see it coming; they only act wrongly in the first place because they would be content to take the maximum punishment they think they could be dealt. It's the punishments that one doesn't see coming that really make them regret their actions and feel sorry about what they did.
Some cheaters from the past have made it clear that they are content to be banned from the forums and ridiculed in the community; therefore it is also clear that we have yet to take away something from them that they truly value (the forums, our respect). Up until now, that is basically all we have ever had the power to take away. I do not believe that any of the tournament cheaters here have ever experienced a true punishment for their actions, a punishment that could legitimately make them swear off of cheating for good. As I understand it, for the first time in our community's history one of us has the ability to do something about the cheating that often takes place in this game. Any suspension of v2 tournament play for cheaters in v1 (basically what I'm calling for, a "true punishment") is not unjust at all; it has been a long time coming.
To remove myself from it a little bit, let me just say that I would be thrilled, happy, and very content if all those who cheated in v1 were to just show up in v2 and play honorably. I doubt I would any longer desire for any kind of punishment for former cheaters if this were to happen. I can forget, I can forgive, and I'd be willing to do so because tournaments would always be honorable and fun. I just doubt it will go down this way.

Replying to you, I'm just ignoring all other posts.
I played the last month of tournaments legit, I think a total of 5 or 6 tournaments. I was banned then for a stupid comment about playing legit because its no fun cheating. I didn't play in the map at all, well maybe the odd hour. SW is putting something in place for cheaters and I won't get a second chance if I get caught cheating. I only want to prove to people how good I can be at the game and that is the reason I will not cheat. Asking for a ban before people get a chance to turn their play style around is something you feel very strongly for. I say wait and see what SW has planed and then I'm assuming if you cheat once you will have your cup stripped and will be banned from tournaments. This is the better way to go about it because those cheaters have a chance to stop cheating and if they do they will be punished.
You watch in a couple of months I will be 100% with you if I get screwed out of as many cups as I did in tp.
Sylar, don't read as I talk about myself again. This is for Kirby and Kirby only. I am not replying to any other posts even though I have a hell of a lot to say to people.

Great to hear that SW is finally doing something.
Yeah cheating should be punished. The closest analogy I can think of would be this. If you committed theft/robbery years ago and finally got discovered, you are going to get punished. The sentencing of your crime depends on how you cooperate during trail. Sentencing is usually lighter if you confess and admit your guilt, and flush out all your actions and other involving parties. If you show good behavior and consistent change for the better, you can appeal for your punish to end or end sooner. This is the way I see it.
what's his name, it would be better in my book for you to just say you were wrong, you are sorry, and accept your punishment now (elect yourself to be banned from tournies for like 1 month, once it is set up of course lol).
The most effective rules/laws would be ones that are clear, enforced, and if broken, followed by severe punishment (stat reset or/and ban).
I think an easy solution without changing codes, is to establish a cheater reporting section on the website composed of 2 parts. Part 1, enter exact name of the tank that cheated. Part 2, brief comment on the player cheated. Depending on the availability of your time, you can review it every week, bi-weekly, or month, and just look at the overall reports regarding specific tank names or tanks with the same account/email address/ip and then just heavily enforce the punishment. I doubt people will cheat much if they know there are actual consequences.
That's my 2 cents.
