Nope, ts should still work. It doesn't get much use unless people tell each other to get on but it should still work. I was on it yesterday.

9 months of data lost for no reason at all. What's the point of playing when all signs indicate if anyone who isn't loved by SW is #1 the server will reset. Heck, give it a few months it'll be going offline again or be permanently deleted. How kind, to give players back their special awards that they worked so hard for....What about my fucking rusty sword? It was the only one in tankpit. More special than any "special." It was the only one. No one else was the lone possessor of any other award. Where's my fucking rusty? Fuck you SW. Ain't gonna waste my time on this shit.

Your wrong sw hate to say it, I can bet u any money my Final Fantasy Account is still active from ps2 days, that game is like 10 yrs old and game servers still running, It all comes down to lack of experince/ lazyness ,if you really wanted to put time in and do it right you could restore everyones tank, just admit it you dont want to take the time., I feel for you lefty we lost a lot. Some of us have to suffer cuz the devs to lazy to fix shit. You cant blame a hosting company due to the fact all our stats gone for 9 months, dont make sense, All games have a back up file saved in case shit like this happens. they can fix it lefty they just wanna be dicks about it, Ive played many MMO/RPG online games in my day. This game is way easier to maintaine .

bluntz still going on about this? Listen bro, they didnt have a backup. how hard is that to udnerstand? Obviously something happened, someone got lazy/never predicted this. shit happens, nothing anyone can do. Sw couldnt restore stats because that would mean guesstimating total points/hours etc.

Fact! Wrong if he had a recent copy of the stats he wouldnt have had to spend all that time fixing old glitches. So if he was lazy it would have been easier to get a more resent copy. Fact, dude your dumb as hell. Use whatever part of your brain that hasnt been fried and use it to sit down and shut up.

Nobody uses it any more apart from me to get in touch with darryl (wikid sensationz) its a pretty big gaming clan that use this server and there are different channels for different games, tp being one of them. picked up 'berserk: cataclysm' on kongregate. Been playing for nearly a month. I'm far more interested in improving my squads there than re-making another tank that by sunwolf's own admission is just going to be deleted when he feels like it anyway.

Also specials carrying over but nothing else is retarded. If those awards could carry - all awards could be restored. Honestly even at 0 hours if I could have my rusty back it would be some what motivational. You guys talk about hard work for a PH or DoT or whatever. Gimme a fucking break. I put in more work than anyone else by about 100 hours and was more efficient than anyone else the entire time.

I know that it's upsetting that you lost your award, and I honestly sympathize with you, but it's only a few pixels, man. It's not the end of the world. You're getting a little carried away with it, I think. Relax!

actually i agree with lefty I say give him back his rusty sword. There was only one rusty so its not like its going to add any extra work. and he earned that rusty with more time than anybody put towards specials.

Sure, I have sympathy for lefty but what about gpurp and bluntz who were less than 50 hours to rusty? Or weekend and I who had 300+ hours?

I think just giving specials is the way to go since they are still relevant to the game. If lefty is going to get his rusty, I think the other swords should be given back as well. But isn't a sword on a tank with 0 hours meaningless anyway?

theres no difference of 200 hours and 450 hours. its a battered sword, which is not special at all really. lets be honest, if this was someone like el dawg who had the only rusty in the game im sure no one would argue he deserves to have it. in all honesty, lefty is right. rusty sword is the rarest award in the game by far. and saying people who were close to obtaining it deserve to have something for that, is like saying someone who submitted in their opinion an award winning submission deserves to be credited for it even though the game went down and it may no longer be relevant.

I say give him the rusty.

It's unfortunate but there's no simple resolution.

In the end you should play games for fun because nothing is permanent and anything can be lost at any time without your control: ie. BF lost, TP lost. Rejoice in your accomplishments, cherish them, but realize they the cold reality of life. Eventually we'll all be 6 feet under and most of you will be too poor to have your tank awards carved in gold on your tombstone.
