Why not just keep the latest stats and awards. I dont understand why we need to reset everything.

Well, simply, because out of 43 people only 8 scrubs, apparently including yourself, have decided that is the correct thing to do. That makes you guys lose 19% to 81%. Sorry scrub.

Unfair for people who lost a lot or all of their play time. Like I said before I am for it and I lost nothing compared to some people.

ya kid STFU u got no room to talk, I played this game well over 600 hrs and never seen u play 1 time. whats ur color flippin tank? your just saying that cuz u might actually be in the top 25 now, If this game dont go back to september we gonna lose mad people, i rather take the risk of loseing more and totally resetting, if anyone here should be mad its me, and im not.

So basically I am being punished more for hosting company's mistake.
Okay makes a lot of sense... Talking about having an even playing field, how about you cry babies stop cheating in tournaments and locking ferries and faking with your boyfriends.

Fine reset stats. Although I do like to keep the awards I earned. But have a continous reset setting for players that practice the aforementioned actions.

I don't care how many hours you lost. Everyone lost some, some more than others. I am here to protect my my remaining stats.
Regardless of when the game is backed up, sept, aug, march, I would vote for keeping the stats.
Not my problem the hosting/whatever the "explanation" was messed up.

so you would overlook the fact that this is completely unfair to people who were dedicated to different degrees within a certain time frame and just continue from wherever we can, even if that happens to be entirely too far away to justify?

keep in mind that probably 30-40% of tanks don't even exist now, and our real #1 is probably even still behind me. if it was backed up to earlier sep or august i could see continuing, but there is a big difference between what is reasonable and this.

You sound selfish though, look at it this way. People lost EVERYTHING simply because they didn't start until later than you and me. If anything this may restore benefits me because I only lost 40hours and ended up gaining several #'s. I am trying to be fair by saying lets all start over, special awards will be carried over because they are earned differently than the other awards and are rare awards.

I know how you feel wanting to keep your stats because you worked hard for them, but what if you got your stats after may and you had nothing? There is no way of restoring stats to the current day. You would be saying things differently then. Look at it from other peoples point of view instead of just your own.

I have considered others view. I only feel bad for the likes of swarm, 003, nachos, HONOR...
I have no sympathy for the likes of bluntz, lefty, basedgod.
Whatever swarm, 003, nachos and eldawg choose I will support them.

If we want to talk about fairness, I vote for no total reset until tournament fairness is restored.

Now all this talk about fairness, where are the cups that were cheated away from me and many others???
The heavy cheating took place between may and oct. cheaters, consider looking from someone else's view.

Why bring this up, cups will be reset also. I lost out to just as many if not more than I cheated for. I said I am sorry many of times but nobody will believe me and thinks I will do it again since this is my 6th or 7th chance.

You would rather a reset not happen because I cheated for x amount of cups? You are really selfish tbh, I will lose the most in this reset and I am for it simply because it is unfair to the other players who now have nothing INCLUDING lefty and bluntz. WN, 003, duy, el... they all deserve a reset. They put in so much hard work to catch the leaders the first time around and now they have been reset and the leaders continue to stay where they are? I didn't play since may on demolition so I lost 40hours only. Others lost 300+ hours lefty losing over 500! Think about it UB.

I am glad you will support el, WN, duy and stephan because pretty sure they all feel the same was as me. (Sorry if any of you guys feel differently)

I want to capture this opportunity to make the game better.
Establish rules for tourny play.
I have said reset is fine, as long as in the future, if someone cheats, then reset his stats over and over.

Maybe if y'all didn't cheat or play like scrubs, many more of us would have played more...

UNBREAKABLE, you pretty much retired soon as I came back. I came back May 6th, the last day stats were saved. Your account is probably the least harmed of anyone's at this point. I was ahead of HONOR with Hulk and I got nothing now, I'm not mad I'd rather move on and start over. I think your ranting is more about selfishly rescuing your personal achievements than caring for almost half the community that came post-May 6th.

There are nothing wrong with the rules about tournaments now. I agree with you, cheating in tournaments needs some sort of discipline. The devs do not watch the tournaments though, they just have to go off what people said. There was 3 groups of cheaters, bluntz and bloodshed, lefty and shringa and myself and pavan. Now this time around I will not be part of the cheating, lefty will not be playing and I doubt shringa also. So 1 team of cheaters left to beat? I don't think I will have a problem beating them, I don't think you would ether or any of the cup leaders to be honest.

This topic is simply should the stats be reset? Should people keep special awards? Not about tournaments and the fairness of them, its the fairness about people losing 500hours not 1hour and a few pixels.

I really dont have not much personal investment in this. All the counter arguments are that I am selfish, lol. I never cared about competing for #s.

I understand this is a community setting. Say for example, town people got together to build a nice town. Some put in more work than others, some put in the work at different times. Unfortunately, the newer sector of the town got bombed/robbed. Solution? Burn the rest of the town down. Fine go ahead, if it makes others happy, lol.

^Maybe it is a bad analogy, bc obviously not all of us are in this together, most dont view it as community, most view it as competition and self gains.

What about banks? There are rich and poor that put their money in the bank, we deposit during different times. A hacker stole the information, and records for the past 6 months were lost. What is the solution? Erase everyone's account?

I just like to debate, that's all.

I see where you are coming from though with both analogy's. Half the town is gone, the other half would share what half was left to help the half that has nothing. They would pull together to make it fair and help each other out. Lets all half out stats and give the people with nothing half then? Is that what you are asking?

The one about the bank though, that's a whole other ball game, in real life the banks would deal with this. I wouldn't have to lose all my money because somebody else lost all theirs. We are taking about a game here, a few months of FUN (people forget that, we keep calling it WORK). I would be more than happy to reset stats, start over where EVERYBODY can have fun from a FAIR point of view.

Most people don't mind starting over to make it more fun and fair for others who lost everything. Not resetting would make the players who lost everything feel so hard done to. Lots will lose motivation to play because they just spent months catching us leaders to have to do it all over again.

If not I do no see a problem with the reset, right now I don't think you have a problem with it also?

I guess your argument / discussion lies with making some changes to the game while you have a chance? Tournaments for example? I agree with you with everything you said, if somebody cheats they should have stats wiped, cups taken away, maybe even a NEW award added to their tank that is ugly as hell that will make the tank look tainted for eternity or until they cup fairly?

LB idea right there, I am sure devs can see if a certain ip address kills the same ip address every tourn? 2 or maybe 3 tourns in a row and its 100% they are cheating. (Yes players can see this from the first tournament but devs are not playing or watching so they have to go off facts.) Maybe somebody like jordan can work on an award along with my idea? Maybe SW will like the idea and then at least something is being done with out changing the whole dynamics of the game all together. I doubt anybody would purposly want this award if we make it ugly as hell and it a weird placing in the award order? or it takes the place of ALL the awards on the tank? Maybe a plaque that takes up the space the awards would usually sit saying "cheater" or just something really bad looking. Pretty sure people would rather keep all their awards rather than cheat and end up with 1 ugly looking award where everybody knows the meaning and the player will be disliked, and even new players who do not know the person will dislike them right away knowing what the award means.

TLDR but I think a good idea came of this?

well this is gonna side track the topic but w/e

it's just the fact that the tourneys you guys do play in you try to fuck it up 95-100% of the time by either blatantly cheating or dying down etc.

like 95% of the cheating is done by same 5 people. sure sure say there are no rules against dying down or w/e, or you're just gonna make sure you have fun, but don't ever try to say that you wish the game could grow and more people will play it.
