I do not agree with starting a tank to just play unfairly on as long as you have another tank you take raids on. I dont get this mentallity.

Solid post. This is about what I meant in my post. A PPH tank where you duck raids or quit before they get on you etc is moreso what I was referring to in my post. If you actually take them but then quit low, that's an entirely different story. Also the excuse you gave cujo, 'i couldn't resist taking the raid' or whatever it was is just fucking lame. Shoulda made a coup de grace raid taking tank to switch to where you didn't care about a death medal on and also to preserve your secrecy.
So much tl;dr on the last page that I haven't even caught up on all that tourney drama you caused, but it skimming through, it seems pretty shady and lame

or we can have people like you (don't feel too bad, it seems to be about 25-35% of the community over the last 2 years) who decide to take matters into their own hands and completely screw anyone who happens to be the same color as you or already EARNED a legitimate kill.

and what is the purpose of taking a raid in a tournament? the only time it makes sense to me is if you're winning or have a kill to be winning and you want to prevent as many other kills as possible by consuming time. if you're in 8th or 2 ranks down with 5 to go or whatever then its essentially a big middle finger to the people who worked hard to position themselves at an advantage (this does not apply to anyone who received a fk/die down, planned or otherwise), and anyone misfortunate enough to be the same color as you and watch as you hog the attention for no reason. good luck trying to kill someone else when your teammate is 2-3 shot teleing a 7-10v1 with 5 to go, i've been there and trust me its probably not happening legitimately.

if tournaments were ffa mode and every kill to that point had been free then i can see some justification, but that simply isn't the case.. ever. in essence you are basically jacking off all over everyone elses good time.. but they'll chase you, because we all need kills and most of us don't seem to be able to create kills on easy marks, instead waiting for people like you to come along and target themselves.

TBH...I stoped caring about terneys...even when I play them and get 4th cuz people have fk's set up and pph partners....its considered cheating to me to have a pph partner so dont
claim your the best becuase you have the best pph in a terney you still cheated for it...so i dont mind playing 10 terneys to cup once and get
4th and 5th every other time...makes it more challenging and worth it in the end when you do finally get that cup...every single terney people cheat...
just dont say "O, I got this many cups I'm the best" In reality how many of those are cheated for...It's a damn shame its come to this

It was an AOW raid, BRAVERY sticks out the most, I think he got the kill. Knock informed me that the big battle night y'all wouldn't target me because it was a waste of time, I tried so hard to get y'all on me.. If only I'd have known what I know now. So I don't see where it got constrewed that I was joining the dark side to never beast again. I'm a grown ass man, I know what I did was wrong.. I said I was ashamed of it, but felt like it had to get out. And I'd have much rather it been on my terms. I don't need people continually pointing out the same shit and asking the same questions because they don't read, and obviously didn't play with coup much. I still have lots to say I just wanted to take a little time and respon to yours el, ima eat an ill get a good response in when I'm at home on a real CPU.

I always respected cujo. Its unfortunate I wasnt around most of the time you played aRc and that I was around for coupe a lot. I don't agree with the fact that people say everyone gets a right to have one tank that sucks. That's so stupid, that's like if BASEDGOD turned out to be eldawg. It still is unacceptable. The game would be a shit show. Clearly I'm not personally mad at you since I been your friends even before I knew who you were. Despite the fact that I had to take countless extra raids because teams like the AoW wouldn't target you cause you were on the assumed runner list. Holy shit. I really just can't even believe what I just read. This bothers me a lot and I can't help to dust this off. I have faced you plenty of times. I've dealt with people with the pph only tanks. The thing that just irritated me the most was that you took raids and q'd low or would run your ass off before you died. It's just such a waste of time for people raiding you. It's annoying. If you just made it known hey im not willing to die on this tank from the start it honestly wouldnt bother me so much. Let down or not we can learn from this thread. A player who was solo in tankpit didn't really stand a chance to remain a high rank unless desperate measures were taken. Especially if that solo player took raids. Since half the playerbase raided and didn't take, the solo players were at a severe disadvantage. Even the most respected players in the game's history were sick of the constant mobbings to low ranks.

Jordan, I saw a post from you months ago on how you thought teams should handle themselves on the field. If you know what I'm talking bout and could quote it and put it in this thread then that would help out a lot, because that's the point of this post.

Teams dictate the play when they are in. If they constantly target the same players and allow tags to follow, the same shit will happen every day. If tp comes back, which I doubt, teams should follow these rules to the fullest extent (J help me out here and find that post!)

This is what i've been saying, but comon crusher if all the legit players leave there will be no fun for the rest of us...The only reason I stay is for the legit players, and tbh some of the non legit players I don't have respect for on the field no more, but they can be fun to talk to man....about random shit. Everybody errs, knowingly or unknowingly; we are all human. You cannot follow men, they will always lead you astray. If you follow principle, you can never go wrong.

Shadow knows what he did and I believe his remorse. Knowing it may tarnish his reputation, he showed guts revealing himself. Most don't even have the nerve to admit when they are wrong, and it's a sign of character to admit, of his own accord, what he did. The actions themselves I do not hold in such high regard, but cujo's admission shows to me that he is still has some scruples.

Having said that, in this game I will never stray from principle, I will always fight, and if I would ever fall so far off course from those principles (as we have seen from so many) that I worked so hard to teach through example, I would expect no one to ever listen to me again. Keeping in mind Tankpit/uTanks/Battlefield are just games, I still feel a sense of pride when beating the competition and staying true to what I learned 11 years ago. The seriousness of my tone is in good sportsmanship, not condemnation, so please do not mistake my message. Hopefully this helps.
