Champion's Corner 9-31-12

Welcome to our second edition of Comics Champion Corner.

I initially thought this series was going to be a lost cause with the first day not seeing many posts. Though, as the days went on, I was pleasantly surprised with all the good feedback and responses from teammates. Thank you guys, teammates and non-teammates.

Over the week we added a new member. This might be a surprise to some and others it's an obvious no brainer, and no we did not pick her cause of that amazing back end. :laugh:

Eva Is Back is our newest teammate playing as Vampirella. Her and I have been on field teammates since she first found the game was back. We worked and communicated very well just on field before we even had any form of communication. She shreds harder than many "legit players". She'll take a raid no matter what and like BOSS7 she'll be right by your side if your getting torn apart in one of your own. Both of these players were fresh to the team battles we were exposed to this week and they made me proud for how well they held up. Please welcome the beautiful Vampirella!

This week we seen A LOT of in field action dating back to last Sunday. On Sunday we started off in The Pit. It was a pretty disorganized purple mob with a few of Comics in to join the mob vs. the AoW and a couple red tags. My memory isn't completely strong for the full details of this. Some of our new members were fresh to how team battles go. Between learning not to teleport to a yellow dot when a teammate is being raided as that is vitale fuel for them, to understanding the "peel off" procedure we teams follow on daily basis. Whenever we are in as group raiding another color, no matter how stacked the odds are if you are targeted by a team while raiding an enemy teammate, you must break off and take that raid. After that, one night we had about 4-5 comics in and 3-4 tags in Tron. It started out as a little battle with the elements but there was just too many purple in to keep the battle even and we ended up gripping a lot of kills. Later on in the week in the Elements map we had Comics vs Elements vs AoW. This battle was epic and waaaaaaaay too much shit went down to even begin to explain. This is the battle that I realized we had a damn good grip of players on our team threw out the night we had appreances from Loki, Starfox, Vampirella, Cable, Constantine, Beast, and Hulk. That battle was the first time we were in with so many players in a very long time. It was great and I want to say thank you and I am more than proud of the outcome.

That is a very brief summary of A LOT of action that went down. If you would like to join the action our style of organization has been to pop in the chat room in the afternoon hours and we all make an agreement on what time we will be playing. Typical 10 Eastern time has been the time all just about hop in.

The roster is up to date to the final minute of every tanks hours. We heard from Loki and Starfox who are on reserves but said they will still be in to join us at times. That is great news as these are veteran players that own. I want to say thank you to all of you guys that have been active with me lately, it has been a lot of fun. Being on the comics has been the best part of this game I have come to find. I use to love tournaments, but lately, these theam raids/battles have been the most exciting and easily the best part.

Everyone has been connected well on AIM and the final thing we need is BOSS7 and Eva to get microphones so we can start raiding without even having to look into the chat. Ttust me, it maeks a HUGE difference.

With the Tank Pit servers down I hope we can continue with the chesmisty we've already built and let's hope the game comes back soon! I haven't proof read this but I am sure I will edit it and add updates to it.

This week. Once the rosters up. Let's all plan to log on at 10 EST PM and see how many teammates we can get on to hop in and play.

If any teammates have any information theyd like to chime in and share..Updates, Roster Edits, Raid schedule time, etc, please post below.

Bullshit man, you were in with us and you were active and you contributed to the deactivations of many enemies. Don't be so hard on yourself. It was your first real week on a team and you took a lot of raids! Ill be honest admitting your BOSS7 so soon might have made things harder on you as now there going to target you based off them knowing your just starting to understand raids, and for some reason you always get the kills in the raids we give so your usually a high rank lol. But at the same rate. You are going to become BOSSIER each raid you take.

Pretty spot on. BOSS IS DA BOSS.

Id target him more because the dude takes and takes without worries from the enemy. My point I like raiding certain people. Not because of skill but because of attitude. Most of your team has a great attitude towards the game and how it should be played. Well done. Glad to see BOSS got picked up too, I was starting to think as the lone true blue he was going to quit soon for sure out of frustration. The last think this game needs is respected players quitting.

Hey Bubba, thank you for your interest and I want to tell you that you are a great up and coming member to our community. As of right now, we are full capacity having to hold off recruiting players I am great friends with. Sorry man. We have a pretty active team with at least 25%+ or some of our inactive roster being active during raids just not during full time action. If you continue to be interested in the upcoming months drop me an email on here. keep on moving up man, I'm sure space will be open eventually. Get them raid owning skills on 100! See ya on the field.

Constantine I kept you on Active for now and updated you to revealed. Looks a lot better. I keep you active due to the game being down, you approaching shiner, and we are still in contact daily with you. You plan on gettin shiner anytime soon? :pacman:

If the game had been up I think I woulda copped a good amount of hours, enough to guilt myself into a shiner soon. As it is now though I've been slammed with work and will be probably til nov atleast
