Tankpit was booming last night. Something rare for the AoW and other reds happened. It was pretty cool to have a choice between raiding someone who will take and someone who will marathon/qlow.

Best purple raid takes of the night:
1) Hulk (major - started at cap)
2) Eva (colonel)

That was fucking awesome. I love that map I said it as soon as I saw it posted on the forum. Best battle map. IMO even better then desert but very close. Took 3 times 2 of them were beast takes. The one as FINESSE i got lagged and jumped hard at the same time due to longmover I dont think I even shot lol. But my raid take on BRAVERY i emptied and ran out of ERs I had to switch tanks. Got on ONE MAN TEAM tank killed Amnesty after a great take got to gen then took myself. Was getting fucked by the longmover again tried picking up equips here and there but all duals just my luck. That was badass though.

Eva you impressed the fuck out of me btw. Good job as usual Hulk and Amnesty. Cable hard to say with you you dodged 2 raid attempts then made up for it? I just dont think he understands what exactly should and needs to be done at a time like that. He will get it though, hopefully.

I come in and I read in the chat reds are taking raids. I ready the team up "1". Then we started dominating even though our numbers were down. Then even more purps came in and reds dwindled. At the end it was a purple mob vs like 5 red raiders and 1 taking. Something like that.

This is me coming in this morning asking someone to help me fill

Yeah crush you beasted that one I was kinda getting annoyed they kept choosing you to mob cause I knew it was going take a toll on our equipment.. lol. Cable didn't know any better, kinda like back when I started as Comic in our first battle. I think as he keeps taking raids things should get more smooth for him.

Purple is way too active right now. Our 3 members on were really just part of the purple mob. If we was in as a team, with all those tags, god it'd be retarded.

I didn't dodge a raid attempt. I died twice last night. The time you are refering to in the top right where about 5 reds jumped on me. I was teleporting around and shooting back. I didn't call for help but other purples converged to the top right area because thats where all the reds were. I spent like 40 armors and 20 duals on 8-9 screens untill the mob of reds dispersed.

I still have 10 years of rust to shake off.

Well I think most people who dont truly understand how to fight a battle between teams they tend to try to help raid with their color instead of actually taking it. IDK what was exactly happening but we called you out and we kept chasing you and you would jump back in the purple raid instead of breaking off.

And to BOSS7. The thing that was brought up with you was when we targetted you, you were jumping back in the purple mob whereas you are supposed to break off and take the raid when targetted. You later did what you were supposed to do, but when Constantine was being raided you should have been helping the other purples as well.

This isn't meant to be negative, just hope to help brush up your knowledge on color battles a little bit. You are consistently getting better, and you did a good job in that raid at top left being in a really tough corner of the map at that time. You were basically feeding out of our hands there when Constantine died lol.

I'm pretty sure as a teammate I should help my fellow teammates. I understand the concept of raiding but if there are 10 reds in the game and 4 purples by this raiding etiquette, 3 of the purples should sit and wait until the 10 reds single out and kill each purple 10-1?

Thats beyond absurd and it's why I switched colors because as soon as I entered the game as a blue lieutenant I would get mobbed by orange, purple and reds because I was a single tank. I don't quit low and I don't marathon across the map. I don't think all the comics and all of AoW should spend the majority of their time at the rank of Captain because of raid "etiquette" A team battle is a team battle. A single person running from 10 people still has to run from 10 people even if 2-3 teamamtes are helping.

All he is trying to say is that there was a purple raid going on. They were raiding a red tank. You should have joined in on their raid attempt rather then hop in Constantines raid the reds had against him.

This is a strategy I employ when my team is severely outnumbered and we can't even get a 3v1 going. It's all about survival at that point. But it was pretty even numbers between purp and red at the time.

Like crusher said, there was a purple raid going on when you were helping constantine. I'm really not trying to attack you or berate you in any way here, I'm trying to assist you with how to be the most effective player you can be.

Meh no need to argue last night was fucking awesome. Mob city if boss wanted to assist his team mate last night i dont see any harm. When i was in orange mobed then red then purp. I was in for a good 2 hours soo.

BOSS brings up a good point but on our team tanks pretty much the Comics rule of thumb has been, and pretty much all of tank pit, if your targeted we take and sometimes even in a team battle no matter what your eq situation you got to peel off if targeted and take the battle. Last night when my decent raid took place I wasn't altogether on eq from targetting BRAVERY and was waiting to move from captain to major (which occured in the raid thankfully) but I still broke off and took. It's just kinda an unsaid rule on how we do things and it works out for both of us at some point whether which color has the benefit. The only other reason to skip out is the always controversial sword coming soon thing :laugh:

No arguments I think knock makes it very clear we are trying to help here. So we hope no tension comes out of this. In a battle, which was happening maybe not necessarily comics and aow but purples and reds def, you want to raid the opposing team and kill them down too. We arent mad at the fact that he hopped in the middle of a raid attempt at all. We just think that if purples are raiding a red he should have helped the purples kill the red quicker which is what is done in a real battle. Thats all. He may not know this. If BOSS rather jump in the middle of our raids rather then go help his color raid reds thats fine by us. One less purple raiding us :-p

No tension still much respect towards you two so far. As REDRUM facing Killz and his teammates it was common practice for ALLSTAR41,Trunks and myself to help other REDRUMS if they were singled out. By sticking together we all stayed general the majority of the time.

I would rather save Hulk's general by being a good teammate than help Decade of Status, Atomic and Coup kill someone.

Thanks, I guess it depends on the circumstance, pretty much though, them targets you named are unfortunate common runners so theyd earn them an annoying chase that would probably lead to changing targets. So we got the to be the sheep, but they also do whenever we are in organized against them. Lately, I think you been seeing more large groups of AoW organized vs a few comics and a purple mob. If we was clicking like a normal team with all comics in organized and will be, it would be our guys vs them, and the one who begins to be targeted by the opposing color is the guy chosen to be raided and he has to peel off and take instead of fight the raid going on. Until then, it's kinda just that same system color vs color despite teammates unfortunately. Some people get mad about radaring for teammates, I don't know about that subject..it's kinda grey.

I don't know if times changed but the first time I learned about this breaking off business was back when I played for the Demons in 03ish and then into the jetz, I really don't know where that idea has come from, it's just kinda been "the common law".

It was fun besides the part where I'm taking a 2v1 as capt loose connection and come back as lt it was all good though I made it to major anyways,hulk was beast,amnesty was beast and Eva is back did pretty good. I got raided for like 1 minute then everyone stopped lol target me I need practice. Crush,knock beast moded the mob niiiice.
