Didn't take too many tries to get it right, finding a name you don't get bored with is hard.. NationaL SecuritY was cool for abit. I don't remember much about that team to be honest, but 1/2 of them more than likely became aliens and highly successful players. Did we even play maze?

guest9/Phil/rox(best well rounded player of all time with the added bonus of being really cool to talk to)
CrimsonMafia/rox(hundreds of hrs of 1v1ing this guy)
-nOtHiNg-/Jamie/rox(one of many illz buddies)
Hurley/rox(loved teaming up with this guy in rox)
tank-destroyer/Joe/rox(phenomenal mapping capabilities)
Low Flyer/rox(fun to team with when he was around)
Anten/rox(he didnt play nearly as much @ the ending of BF, but when he was in it was a joy to watch)
Tank Demolitioner/cas(all around good player)
AVALANCHE/des(i remember his raid takes being the most awesome thing ever)
Oxy(or Oxy cotton)/des/(I was there during that legendary raid u took with 40 tanks, it was the craziest thing i ever saw, and the only person I know to almost duplicate this is crusher on BRAVERY)
Double Trouble/rox(survived countless mobs that i remember, and i absolutely loved his awards before he got that silly tank award)
H3LL/Laura/everywhere(between her joe and phil, taught me how to map, from that point on I continued to try and improve, even now)
X-DANK-TANK-X(i know most of you forgot about him)/cas(used to think he was on sh, neither confirm or deny my suspicions)
Terminator/James/every map(long time friend that always 1upped me somehow)
GeNeRaL/Brandon/cas(a real good friend i watched grow into something great)
Fireman James/cas(fun rival/teaming buddy)
black dragon/cas(fun rival/beast raid taker)

gLUTTONuRDaddy(not likely format, but name is correct)/des(these two were purposely put together as they were in my eyes rivals, despite being the same color, i was around for the better half of those constant orange mobs in des)

Buzzard(i probably already listed you above but i simply cant remember what ur main was)

I'm sure theres a lot more that I'm now choosing not to mention now, simply because I keep feeling the need to add comments next to them. I KNOW YALL WOULDN'T WANNA READ ALL THAT, so with that being said, the last thing that needs to be mentioned is they all played a role in my current playing style, I looked up to all these people in more ways than one, and since i never got the chance to personally tell them, thanks :)

I played during 3 different generations of Battlefield. The most fun being in '97/'98 when Battlefield was fresh and probably the most honest time period.

There are far too many people that deserve to be on a list like this. Most people can narrow down a specific generation or map so its a lot easier for them to come up with a list. I've made a lot of friends and a lot of enemies in this game, administrating forums for 10+ years has always impacted relationships with players on the field whether I wanted it to or not.

TwIzTiD was actually #1 from 2004 to the beginning of 2007 I believe. Thein passed him a few months before the game died and then scrap metal came along and put 2500 hours on one tank to take #1 right before the game died.

thien only passed TwIzTiD in 2007?

When I started playing again in the summer of 2007, thien was #1 and stayed #1 until the game ended as far as I know. I don't recall scrap metal passing him, but once I got perma-booted from Desert a month or so before it died completely I didn't really play much anymore so maybe he did pass him :shrug:

thien passed luke early...prolly 05ish or w/e...then for awhile scrap and thien went back and forth...then scrap, thien, and gluttonurdaddy...thien was persistent and stayed around til the end...was prolly #1 for all of 07 and 08

we could prolly use the wayback machine or w/e and get top 25s from back then

I'm pretty sure scrap overtook in 2008. There is a screenshot of him in the old desert SS's with 2500 hours. Top 10 passes were mind numbing.

madmike was # 1 from about the time desert was created. Him, Red Devil, Yoda and Lowflyer went back and forth for top spot for at least 6 months.
