This list of mine is based on all my time throughout all the games. Its based on everything from skill to being top of maps. People that ruled the fields or ruled numbers. Who were respected by others. Who I looked up to or, when I became good, people I saw as good players.

Now for TP. Been here from pretty much the start so I've seen almost everyone play.

4. Contributed to the game (ie specials)

Atilla- always a beast in castles
Turkey- favorite blue player in castles
Puppetmaster- in my second go around with castles, always remember him taking raids
Term2/lumpthenoleggeddog- hated him for awhile in desert because we could never kill him
AmazinG1- good ole steaksauce/tuff11- made his name in maze but came back to desert occasionally and beasted
TM2- good player
eldawg51/blackbird- always got my orange mobs on him and had legit 1 vs 1's...armoring down to singles until someone died...we definitely had similar play styles of ngaf
Eden- saw him take some decent raids during my early days and was always a nice guy to me


Depends really. A lot of people built up their reps while using dtt's etc. that no one else had. Saw a lot of people that owned during the "site" days and didnt really have it translate to the "dtt" days. Same with some people being terrible during the "site" days and owning during the "dtt" days. Weren't too many that owned in both periods for w/e reason.

My list is based on people that I saw dominate pre-dtt(mainly desert players). The top 6 were probably the only people I would say I based my game off of and considered them to be the best players.

My first mention, would have to be someone I Havn't got to talk to in a loooooooong time. I didn't even get to play with him once I started getting good. He got my attention with an AIM tank one morning before school, I was playing my newb woodstock tank with no awards. The first person from the game I talked to, and probably the reason I stuck around it. He even gave me his tanks to hang on too while he was away, he never came back for them.. Maybe one day we will speak again, Natureboy20.

Ohh fuck eh, Yeah you did have over 230 total. jesus fuck, Thats just insane. You should come back and play tankpit with me next month, and we will step this game up a notch or two. But yeah right now there are about 5-10 active downies that play daily. The game will be better when they clean these bad maps up and only have playable maps. Thats the main reason I would barely take raids or play, the maps weren't worth it.

I was young awards and tank names fueld who i thought was cool squids where at the time a legend team and juices followed but didnt last long. I was to into worms 2 ropping to stick around bonus. So i played very little and quit low often but i was actually pretty bad at it and still died sometimes.

My list will be pretty partial to desert as well, although i branched into rocks, maze and apps from time to time. i cant settle for 25 though. All these people influenced me, and i loved playing with and fighting against them. Regardless if some did or didnt have the best reputations they still all made the game fun for me at one point in time. So many memories erupt from typing these names out, des for me from its early days was seriously the best. Some people that currently play tankpit arent on here just based on me not playing when some of you did. This is all based on who i saw during most of my career.

Edit: i owe an old friend for getting me into this game as well, he was my neighbor and we had such a rivalry with getting awards. i remember the one day him and i got home from school and we both ran to the computer to try and beat each other to get Gold tank, the image of me getting to my computer first and looking out the window and seeing him just getting to his front door is forever burned in my brain. I told him about tp, he came in and played till sarge a while ago.
