Tournament exp
I'm still fairly new here and I still have no idea how the tournament xp works and why the top person is always 99 and no other number and just hoping someone could fully explain to me how the system works?
Thanks, in more detail why do some say luitenants have more xp than a captain and major in same tournament for example.
Thanks in advance

The person with 99 is the person who got the most "Exp points" (promotion points) and the rest of the numbers are percentages of that top person. The lower rank players with high exp's that you are seeing are guys that beasted in points but couldn't get any kills.
Edits: so if you have say 75 exp it means that you got 75% of the points that the 99 exp guy got.

Could it be possible that the person with the highest rank does not nessiserilly have the highest exp? So even though the only major is number one , there is a captain at number 2 with more xp points so it has 99xp and the major has <99?

Yep, even leuits can have the highest exp at times. That is why players like knocky decided to take a break from tournies because they were getting all the points but cheaters were getting the kills and the cups a lot of the time.
Here are some examples:

This tourney is interesting because it had 3 people who were so close in points that they all had 99 EXP.....but none of them cupped.

The system works on a percentile basis. In other words, it ranks each player in terms of their overall performance in points with respect to the competition. That's why the number is never 100 since being in the 100th percentile would mean that a player would be ranked higher than 100% of the field (impossible since said player can't be better than himself... make sense?).
