I just made a post figured I would make it a topic.

This game has really gone downhill. People are copying leftys play style run from raids and pph only. Wikidz turned into a bunch of cheating fucks for some reason. TP devs are only loading up the worst maps submitted for some reason and because of this inactivity is down a ton. The only actives who play (for the most part) have that lefty style of play BASEDGOD lefty BLUNTZ etc. Tournaments are full of people who die down and/or cheat with planned free kills. You guys wont be happy till there is no fucking game at all or no activity. I can see this game turn into a ghost town just like utanks. Players have no respect for how they play anymore. Do u guys honestly want this game gone? Even this forum got ridiculous at one point bunch of people just trolling and being annoying all the time.

Everyone complained when battlefield got shut down. You guys wanted the fucking game back. Thats why every single one of you is here on this forum now. So how disrespectful and stupid is it to shit on the game with the cheating, the lame playing style etc. Some of you guys need to wake the fuck up and stop being so immature.

This really hammered the point you were trying to make home. Everyone was so upset when bf died. Years and years later the same people are trying to kill it.

those players played the same way in bf, except they went un noticed because somehow they were even worse. Now the playerbase is small enough where a small group of players can make a huge impact.

Blame the devs really. when it was desert there was up to 40 people in the game at a time. during those peak times, you couldn't run from a raid. youd have to quit. some people would be 1v1ing, some doing small raids others doing mobs. it was active and had everything. the devs know exactly what these maps do to the activity and they continue to play them even after everyone speaks out about it. Nothing the players can do but wait till tp drops its hatred for the players.

Yeah I agree its the maps too. I dont know what the fuck they are thinking putting lame maps up. My one chance I could play was today and they upload this map. But when activity is so low and all you have left to fight are people like lefty basedgod and bluntz the game is retarded. I mean i was just in and a lieut quit out on a 3 vs 1 while he was targeted... youre really gonna save your fucking stupid lieut rank????? Some of you guys are lame. Im so serious you people who play like this wont be happy till the game is dead and eventually gone again.

those players arent ruining the game at all. The only ones who ruin the game are the teams who mob 24/7 (that doesnt happen anymore) and the players who consistently cheat in tournys. Like i said, if it were a solid map the activity would be there and you wouldn't be forced to chase newbs who will run and lq regardless of the map/number of players chasing them. When its a terrible map the shitty players thrive cause they would play that way anyways except majority of the legit players don't play giving them an easy out to get tons of time without risking anything. on the other side you have the legit players who are forced to take a raid/mob knowing theyre going to die. if they fill and start fighting again, they get raided again. continue this cycle until those players stop playing these shitty maps. That leaves us at this point.

Once the map changes to something playable the activity will pick up and you can ignore the newbs. till then, just stay out of the map. It'd say it hurts tp in the longrun with the huge drop in activity/hatred for the devs, but it doesn't seem like they care at all. w/e.

I think a positive post a day from all of us on the BB will help the game, that is if people care enough to even do that. All new players read is crap from BLUNTZ and BASEDGOD, and I don't know how they can stand it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. We are already lucky enough to be able to play the game we all know and love, and you guys throw all that away by disrespecting the game and cheating. There is no place in this game for that and it will ultimately lead to the game being shut down as we knew it last year. If you truly enjoy this game, please take a step back and realize that cheating will ruin the game. We should want to improve the game so that teenagers and younger like we used to be will find this game and maybe achieve the same kind of enjoyment that we all got out of this game. Just give a little back to a game that has given us all so much.

and i agree el. the bulletin board is the first thing a newcomer will see, when it is filled with smut it just drives people away. lets try to take back the BB and make some positive posts, that is a great place to start.

This game is easy to exploit because there are no set rules. We just have a bunch of rogues ruining the game for everyone because thats just the kind of people they are. I'm sure if we knew them in real life they would be the same people that represent their actions and words on here.

I don't let them ruin the game for me. I rarely play tournaments, what they use as their stomping grounds, and I rarely see them on the field. And when I do, I expect them to play like noobs.

Noobs never disapeared. They always existed through all eras of this game. Maybe we just can't see that right now because we don't expect older players to play that. Open your eyes and take them for what they are, noobs.

I took the initiative and put in two posts in the TPBB for tomorrow. I gave some encouragement to The Hunter and have props to Shadow for always beasting raids. Not going to suggest something and not do it myself, so hopefully others follow suit.

How is this remotely entertaining?

I haven’t been General in 40 hours or Colonel in 20. Obviously I’m not like lefty and slit my wrists when someone deactivates me in an online game but it’s very annoying spending every day at Captain chasing lieutenants around 1-1 only to have them quit low and change colors. I’ll spend my time elsewhere thanks.

Well, you DO have blue teammates. They're just gay and hop on blue only when no one else is in or when they can mob. At this point, the only advice I can give you is to play the game for what it realistically is these days: a chance to join a raid or get raided. Ranking up is just a lucky bonus from time to time.

Blue does suck when trying to rank, but seriously if you like taking raids its one of the best colors to play. If you just want to raid choose orange, red and purp both have long term teams attached to them so ranking shouldnt be too hard but taking raids might get lonely.

Like dizzle said just play, put rank in the back of your mind and just play to raid or get raided. Being orange is so boring being blue I hated filling my eq all the damn time. I love to take but filling eq does suck. It sucks even worse on some of the new maps. Also Cujo is like two tanks so you got blues lol.

Good advice. I think playing too much can get old and make you cynical. Try playing in hour sessions two tops and take a break. I know what dying over and over and over and over an over and over and over feels like, and if I had to do it over again I would not take at lieutenant and just bring in a different tank because taking mobs at lieutenant can knock the wind out of your sails. Good luck man!

Play 24/7 for a few months then take a break for a few months, rinse and repeat. That's how most people, myself included, have always played this game.

Perfect example of clowns tonight I enter the game and start fighting a purple captain 1-1 then BASEGOD come to help me which is fine I never asked for it but ok. THEN a purple col, an orange col and BLUNTZ gen as well as the original capt all attack me. Three people in the group do not benefit from killing me.

I don't think one color is dominant in TP. All colors have their moments. Your blue teammates are cowards and that's saying it way too nice.

Don't feel too bad about rank either. I've made it to general 3 times in 200+ hours. It's much more satisfying ranking to general knowing you don't quit on raids but raid others, or take free kills.
