Everybody cheasts

and that's why im not playing tankpit anymore. To be honest the best part of the game is this forum and the people .

Just thought i'd express myself. :clueless:

And this is whats wrong with all the bullshit. These kids are getting away with it with no repercussions and chasing people away till its just going to be them cheating for cups with no one around but them, them in main map playing with each other. Game cant expand when people play like fags and chase everyone away. But thats what they want, to be the badasses of a game with no one playing but themselves. Because its "how they want to play, and makes them happy" Selfish children.

Sad to hear youre not playing but at the same time its understandable considering the circumstances. Hopefully the bullshit can be alleviated somehow and good and honest players can flourish while the scum stay stuck to the bottom of our shoes where they belong.

There has been no cheating for weeks now. Apart from bluntz and others in the main map taking free kills but hey who cares about the main map.

Tournaments are fine now apart from dan dieing down because he thought whinealot nachos cheated and he thought broccoli cheated but he actually got legit kills apart from a die down he didn't ask for from Whit is ugly.

To be serious though, every game has its cheaters. EVERY game. Tp just has a more emotional and connected (and small) player base :shrug:

Just play right and have fun. The more players that play right, the less the cheaters will stand out.

I want to learn the code and modify it to improve the game. I got a lot of big ideas for changes, will require significant effort. I got computer science friends that may be interested as well. I want to publicize it and get a couple hundred players interested and see where that goes.
How much do you think this game is worth? I have no idea how much they paid for it.

Unless you can code yourself and could dedicate alot of time to it, it would not be worth it. It looks like a 3-4 person job minimum, 7-8 if you get a large influx of players

Pretty sure some players had the old bf code, maybe you should get hold of that somehow first and look over it before you jump into something you can't handle. I don't know who runs the game but I an like 99% sure I know one of them. (There could be more than one who knows?) and it's not SW, although fingers do point in his direction a lot lol.

I am confident I can learn the code and modify it given some time. I got friends working at Amazon and Cisco, a coworker of mine is majoring in CS, another does network stuff, so I am not worried about having people to code and getting it running.

Maybe I should wait till I finish my MS in EE in May 2013, I would have more time to take on this hobby.

tankpit wasnt even paid for. it was acquired on a joint ownership from the previous owners. whoever took it on did all the programming and upkeep and unbent media gets to include it in one of its projects for its portfolio. Nobody paid a cent for this game i bet.
