Then I grab a fuel he can't see and go back to work him down, nachos shows up while we pound the rest of his shields off while he can't find a fuel and he dies. 1 legit serg. nachos steals a second legit serg in a mob top leftish, I believe it was on PwnerAlex. 2 legit sergs, still lieut. Then I didn't see his lieut kill, but from what I hear, it was on -Potato-, intending to give you a free kill (shocker!). Potato, who had already quit low, and then died to Brocoli. You kids will never learn.

- Uranium -'s calling HELP Enemy, and I'm still lieut and need a kill, so I take a look. What do I see? - Uranium -, - Krypton -, and cdub (pretty sure he's - Dubnium -) 3 on 1'ing - Titanium -. I actually laugh out loud, and then jump over to join in. Kid's actually fighting back, 45 mins into a tourney on this dry ass map, against three of his teammates. Shady as fuck if you ask me. If he was running, it'd only be one thing (that Hays was calling backup), but no, he was fighting back. I guess justice was served in some way though since none of them got the kill:

I really really played legit, if I cheated I would of took gold because there was several people I knew who played the tourn who would give me a kill pretty much instantly if I asked.

I played legit, did pretty damn well but not as good as I would like to in points, stole a nice kill (free kill from wAr dOg as you called it ) from the red mob, had 8mins to fill my bar as capt, fucking beasted and filled it just as the 1 min marker sounded. I then went after - Krypton - and then switched to DETERMINATION but there was only those 2 and another purple there so no chance of any of us dieing.

VK, I don't see how that's shady? I mean, if it was a depo that'd be one thing. They don't sit in AIM coordinating so apparently Racefreak chose the wrong color, Hays has called stuff on teammates before just for kicks and clearly he was calling out a color-wide raid on Racefreak with the HELP message. And everyone knows that Race fights back no matter what. So... maybe there's more that I'm not seeing from your post? :shrug:

I don't subscribe to the idea of some people around here who believe that teammates are forbidden from going the same colour in a tournament, due to mobbing. I would much rather mob with my teammates (all on our team tanks), then end up killing one of them for rank, or end up pph'ing with them for a long stretch (cause that's just how it turned it, not cause any of it was planned).
I don't know Racefreak well enough to know that he'd "fight back no matter what". I'm assuming you're implying kinda like el would? even in a tournament like he does. I personally don't understand why he does this, makes no sense to me.
And if that's the case with Racefreak, well, then we can just throw him into that weird "ultra-honourable" category along with eldawg, of people who fight back against highly outnumbered situations in tournaments for some strange reason even though they (must) know it will give them no chance to win.

So maybe it's just me, but without the knowledge of Racefreak being el-like the whole situation seemed really shady to me at the time.
And with the knowledge of Racefreak being el-like, he should definitely be coordinating with his teammates to go the same colour as them IMO.

Yea I was kind of sticking him in that El category, he usually just fights even in those tourney situations - I don't understand it either ;) But I can see how it could look weird without knowing some of the group dynamics. And Race definitely SHOULD coordinate a color before hopping in (hint hint race :!:
