For real. There are times when I want to sit down and play but then I see maps such as this and I don't even bother.

Yeah I dont want to pay either. I hope tankpit is actually checking activity and not just looking and seeing the numbers. Some moron has like 10 tanks in at all times.

I didn't play when Badlands or Blast Zone were up, not gonna boost activity for maps that shouldn't even be in the rotation.

inb4 Quick Sand is next.

I hate blast zone so much it inspired me to spend all fucking day editing that map just in hopes that it could replace it. Or badlands, quick sand... I bet apache plays out similar too actually.

How was atlantis?

Instead of everyone whining in blast chat or on here. Email them and ask what the deal is then. Not sure why no one does this.

they already know that blast zone is unpopular. They just don't care. It'll cycle out. They already told josh that the map changes have been programmed. All I can hope is after the trials we never have to see it again. Nothing personal. It does slightly offend me that 2 unplayable maps got KuMa a purple heart while my map didn't even get trialed. I had left it largely open on purpose but now I've sent the detailed version in so maybe...

weekend nachos is so pissed his maps are the worst. Its not your fault, its not like your a pro map maker or something. You just didnt know how bad they would be. tp devs probably the same thats why you got a ph. You should be pumpt imo. You stole a ph from everyone else.

I'm not butthurt at all, I have been emailing them and doing my part by staying inactive until the maps have changed.
Really don't understand tbh because all of the maps were not cycled completely.. Yet these maps we complained about are back again.

I'm havin like hungarian flash backs

Re: Blast Zone

i dont think theyre bad at all. just getting unfair treatment from everyone because of the water issue and everyone wants an easy land map. I dont like appealing to the masses. And i didnt. Obviously doing something different worked in my favor, the only animosity i have towards anyone is the fact that because the ferries are messed up it makes it a bad map but somehow thats MY fault, when its not. I designed the map, i didnt program the variables. Sure theres a shit ton of lakes, but nothing adding more of specifically choosing ferry placement cant change.

Everyone was stoked to play badlands till it came out because of the ferries and the spawning of eq and fuel. Its not the design. Everyone now has just switched over to saying they're bad maps because theyre not getting responses from the devs, so now they need to point fingers at someone so obviously its me. Everything that can make the maps more playable is within their reach, not mine. So keep bringing the hate. :ph:

Lefty, let me be honest with you. Your map is horrible dude that's why it didn't get picked. Weekend Nachos maps are horrible too but in the pics they looked different and cool. It just so happens they are neither. I can play the one map of his but blast zone is a no go. The one with the central lake doesn't bother me at all.

Also lefty keep working at it the map actually looks better now that its being revised but even still I don't think its there yet man. In my opinion to much water but at least its connected I guess. I still work on my map and send them new revisions here and there. I dont expect them ever accept it but its worth a shot now and then when I get bored with a map like blast zone.

Me saying, " These maps blow" is nothing against you weekend. I know you want to take pride, and do what you can to stand up for your work, but it's not against you. We just don't like the maps. Why was desert and rox the only "real" active maps at the end of bf? Water seems to be disliked, as I don't like having to go to a ferry nonstop, and with badlands the map itself dries to quickly. You made maps perfect for ranking up on. I like that part. There are good things to your maps, but enjoyment as a single player just isn't there. It's NOTHING against you as the creator.

that his maps are bad. Sorry bro like I said not your fault, you didn't know how they'd play. Even if there was ferries in every lake on blast zone its still a bad map. You should have spent more time fine tuning your maps for playability. Theyre basically just a bunch of brushes slapped on an image. But like I said before who cares you got what you wanted in the end, a purple heart. It's not like theyre going to remove it from your tank when they remove your maps from the game.

It's bad quality coz its a multi colored gif and you can't see the detail without being at like 500%.

The land is totally redone and there's only one little area towards the bottom left I forgot to fix. There's some pools where you cant reach one of the water tiles. I'll probably fix that and send it back in just in-case. You can go almost everywhere on the map with a ferry. You could go up one river then cut through the land go down the next etc. It looks like a lot of water but there are islands covering a majority of the map and a ton of the water is accessible from a bank. I really like it now that it's been revised and I think people would enjoy playing it more than looking at the picture of it.
