Decent fill still over 10mins but was 5th or 6th to fill. Stayed #3 in points behind sean and starfox for 30-35mins. Noticed I had 0 radars. Filled my duels up to 50 by the 45min mark and people started to pass me so I had a decent lead since I didn't shoot for 10mins until people caught me lol. I then just chased kills, hoped that ktr250 or w.e his name was would make serg. I killed a private BR also and got 7 duels lol.

Honestly I saw DaDestroyer had no eq but I had no duels so missed the kill shot. then wasn't present for the 2nd kill because I was trying to find duels.

Owned 1st 35mins, sucked for 25mins and shot a total of 30duels until the last minuet I shot a shit load at - Hydrogen - along with 3-4 other tanks. Starfox stayed shooting me and tdk showed and shot me once to take the kill.

TL;DR I don't care, wasted another hour of my life but I am really happy there was no gay shit apart from the noob with no eq and everybody else getting owned so easily lol. I wish I watched my shields at the end so I didn't die but w.e.

I shouldn't have played, I honestly have no idea what to do on a ferry haha. I think Iceland killed me when I clicked to move to fuel and shot it instead. It was too late and I couldn't turn on armor fast enough. Rookie mistake . Whatcha gonna do?

tbh ferries are used a bit differently in iceland, at least in my opinion.


i don't really like fighting on them that much, rather i like to fill on them and stash em somewhere on the weak side of the map so i can fill on them again later. did this to perfection for my rec fill and as soon as i made lieut i hopped right back on, coasted down the side of the map to fill, and then left it permanently to begin fill fighting while sniping the people on the ferries (POWER, Hulk, few others) to gauge the distance to starfox. wasn't really trying to run him down, more trying to narrow the gap and stay stocked on duals so that when i did make the pass with 80+ duals, i could bury him shortly after. worked about as well as i could ever expect tbh.



part of why i like deep six is because its sort of the intermediary between apps ferry usage (strictly faking off in the middle of the ocean) and iceland (filling and then sniping the people who are in a lag situation from faking and having each other drive around).

deep six has enough water that it makes sense to fake, but since every area is snipeable, you can do well on land.

my shit froze up on the same screen as like 3 red bots shortly after i hit lieutenant and i ended up dying lol, got that fucking oops message and never re-entered. had the shittiest fill that topped out at like 17 minutes, was way behind and generally didnt even feel motivated to play at all

only entertainment i derived from this shit was making some purple lt. quit low on an island, kid kept coming in and out until fuel finally regenerated next to him rofl

Seriously tho, my only point is this... Everyone i talked to when i said, "if they take two free kills they should die down"; told me I was crazy. Everyone said "in the situation you would never turn down a free kill", well ask Hydrogen. He can tell you straight up i just went the other way. Just know regardless of how low the standards of players in this community are; we(hyperion's team) will always play legit.

Here's the deal. My rules are fairly simple. Use everything the game has to offer. I can compromise on the die down position, but they are a million times more legit than a depo I mean c'mon that is a stupid fucking argument. I believe people should quit do not get me wrong, but if they want to stay then so be it at least a large group will be on them(randomness is what kills are about). Why not use everything the game has to offer? I mean in iceland tourneys if you are on a raft you have a really slow start. In ice if i find a raft i play on it, if not i play on land. I mean if you feel you could rape on a raft sean by all means do it. As long as you do not have a player holding your raft i do not see a problem with it. As long as no other player helps you it is fair game imo. Unfortunately for you it seems every other tourney you have multiple people helping you. Can you even win completely by yourself? Today excluded obviously. But you win more the wrong way than the right way... That's fact. How about you figure out how to win by walking away from free kills? That deserves respect. But 4 free kills in the last 3 tourneys dude LOL give me a break. All my tourneys are won completely by me.

Thanks for that. I got the fuel and still had 40+ shields. I got more fuel then decided to sit and 3v1 shoot a captain at the last min. I thought my shields + half fuel would last up until the last few seconds. Starfox decided to shoot me and not the captain and then missed op showed and shot me because he was the same colour as the captain. So I died with maybe 10seconds to go. I duno why I went so hard for a kill at the end because I knew I had dropped off the charts. Honestly thinking about just going for pph every tourn now and hoping for diedowns / depo's like the top pph usually get.

a couple of things. this tournament me and sean played tanks that no one could possibly know who we were. tournamentjesus always plays a tank that no one knows since the dawn of time. i stole a depo to an element which i doubt the element knew he was going to depo, i literally scoped across the screen and didnt slightly suspect he would depo or anything. he moved down and my bar grew, two other people shot him with homings when he moved down and i got the 3rd homing on him for the kill. some of the bullshit logic that tdk preachs suggests that you should die down after a free kill, i pretty much had silver without that depo, and whose to say you cant get a kill later anyway? its actually pretty easy to kill people in water maps which is why i like them so much. anyway, tdk why didnt you die down when you were given free kills in the past? preaching about bullshit that you dont even do. props for turning down a specific depo to you today tho grats on bronze. secondly i doubt you had the points for major, nice try though
