loling, hard

showed up 50 minutes late, full by the hour and 5 mark. got 2 out of the 4 kills i was in on and was #3 major, but in the process of getting to major i needed to armor and a 2nd guy showed as i made major and tried to tele and daisies got me on a homer. was behind tanker anyway so it doesn't really matter.

only 2 caps when i entered, saw bubba queer give away like 4 kills, meh

Kind of disappointing to play for 2 hours and not get one serg kill. I guess that's the nature of desert. I still prefer desert/rocks/maze over the other maps for tournaments.

Balance was a beast for points. Too bad he didn't get a cup - he deserved it. I think I could have been closer in points if I didn't spend the last 20 minutes trying desperately to kill something. Oh and dying with 92 shields due to a quick 3 seconds of lag doesn't help either. I'll take 2nd in points I guess. Hopefully I can play some more tourneys soon...84 hour work week this week so not much time for games. >.>

What's up with TP anyway it's lagging for me now all of the sudden in new ways that it didn't before...frozen screen stuff that I've never seen. Anyone else have any of that?

That was loooong, managed to get a lieut kill in a mob, I'll take :silvercup:

I thought I forsure had better pph but i spent a long time filling and chasing people around

I mined you after you got low and radared. Then saw you die with full shield. Daisy stole that one from me.

That was frustrating, saw everything slip in front of me.

lol sean, You shield battled me. I knew you had 0 shields so I scoped you but you moved so I tele'd to you at the 1min to go mark and that other guy got you on homer.

Filled before 10mins, was #2 for a while when I was getting points. Then after the 30min mark decided to try and kill BuBBa, I kept letting him shoot me why I sat still until he made serg but other people always got the kill no matter how impressive my pre-tele's where. I would land, shoot 3-4 duels then somebody would fire a homer over me and kill him.

Funny how everybody who wasn't orange decided I would die and tried to target me. I took some of the 5/6v1's for a while, there was no chance I was going to die with that much fuel and eq about. Made it fun though.

Again, I can't believe how horrible everybody's PPH was, guess everybody had the same idea to rank to capt.

I smoked 5 cigs that tourn while playing because I was that frustrated. GJ winners. Unlucky unbreakanoob, and very unlucky to sean for failing on what would of been a HUGE upset lol. That tourn was up there as on of the best tourns although I really really sucked.

Yeah I was pineapple. As soon as I hit the mine I tried to put up shields but my screen froze for like a second and they went on and off. Kind of a bummer. Then everyone is following me around like I was out of shields. lol

wasnt a mob, i was fighting someone else and got too low when trying to drive to fuel. Somehow you popped up and got a shot in before my move registered. Not trying to taking anything away from it or your cup, just correcting you ;).

The screen freeze happened to me a few times also, I lost 60-70 shields one time and just did 1-2 shot tele's until the mob died off then filled again.

If you have any idea's what caused it then send it in to TP.

I came in an hour late, hints my tank name. Filled in 20 mins. As soon as I hit serge though the whole map was on my ass. I escaped multiple times from the 10+ tanks that accumulated but everytime I tried for points, more tanks showed up. I would've kept going but some orange tank stole my fuel and I was screwed with the massive mob.

Had less pp than red-1 yet I'm ranked ahead of him :evillaugh:

Sup lol, didn't expect to cup in tankpit in just my 2nd time out

I hadn't checked the calendar and just assumed it was a one hour tournament, so I spent all my equipment just before the 1 hour mark

At 9:01 ET I was like "aw shucks it's 2 hours?" and actually considered leaving; it looked like absolutely nobody was gonna die, might as well start streaming the Sprint Cup All-Star race which was already in progress

But I'd had an 8 minute fill and was somewhere in or near the top five in points, and there were only 2 captains in the map so far so I decided to stick it out
Knowing there were better PPH'ers somewhere behind me I started going for kills; fortunately everyone else did too, so my points actually stayed up
That's when everything started going my way

Got the re-entry kill on Bubba_Gump; I knew he had been floundering around for a while and I just happened to hit the active players list and see him at the bottom. Knowing exactly where he had left, I made my way over & shot the spot with Chubby Chaser (what's his name it appears), who just missed out on him as I got the lucky last hit after he came back in.

Ranked to captain and was 2nd to Balance at that point; then captain after captain started ranking up and I started smiling because I was ahead of each of them. You have to understand that this wasn't normal for me back in bf lolol. I only fell to 3rd when DasCondor hit major, so I was feeling pleased for some time.

Then I got lucky and killed pineapple1,

To single star up to major, and held on to number one until the end.

I was content to finish first at major... and I had been minding everything that was going on with Sean too lol.

I saw you come in past halfway and I was like "I bet Sean is going to end up winning a cup anyway, he'll probably even beast his way past me in points by the end of it"
Saw you get your kill to captain & thought "there goes one domino"
Then I saw you get a kill for major & I was like omg he's actually gonna do it rofl - if he can just get to major in these last 10-12 minutes!

So at the very end, in the last minute, I saw you at the bottom with nobody to shoot, & that you were still a captain.
Decided to tele down and shoot with you for the last minute to see if you'd make it & cheered in my room when I saw you successfully become major; what a story, right?
Then all of a sudden you disappeared... & so much was going on, all I saw on the side was that you had left the game.

...it wasn't until 2 tele's later that I realized I was a colonel LOL. I was like WHAT?! I don't remember getting a kill at all! ...scrolled up and saw that you had actually died lol
Looking at the results now I guess Tanker would've nipped you for 3rd anyway but still, nice work

Maybe I'll actually start playing the game instead of just rockblock now haha

That was fun guys, good tourney. It was totally a lucky win for me; I mean, I've hardly even played!

Oh & also what's his name I found it mildy amusing to see a tank named "Chubby Chaser" chasing a tank named "Bubba" all around the map for so long :hah:

i had just fought what's his name for like 2 minutes and armored my way down to like 6 armors and 15 duals (from about 65-70 or so) i teleported over to 1 small can, got another, and then you appeared. if i had known how close i was to major i wouldn't have armored you to begin with, i woulda just traded shots and teled at like 4 from death and tried to fuel again. instead i armored down, made major as i ran out of armors with half huel and then what's his name came back and i couldn't teleport fast enough to avoid the homer death, probably shoulda gone a little shorter but i had no yellow dots in the area and had just radared some of it.

i would probably be mad as fuck right now if tanker never made major tbh.

I know dude lol, I smiled to myself at that. Yeah, BuBBa quit low for the 4th or 5th time that tourn and everybody had left the screen I decided to sit and wait. I was shooting the raft as he entered and you did also and beat me to the lucky kill shot.

I really should of shot the ground to see if you followed where I was shooting but like you said you knew where he left also lol.

I didn't notice sean get his kill for major, I was like WTF, I am not having sean win after he only plays for an hour. I was planning to snipe him any way, no matter what he was going to die

you are a horrible person though kirby. You where ahead of me in pph, and kills. I sucked that tourn lol. GJ.
