I'm going out west to work full time over summer and free time will be plenty and I could possibly rusty this summer. If of course I have motivation to play. As an ex ffxi addict 500 hours in videogames to me isn't even a lot tbh lol.

It wasn't a lot to me back in the day, but I hardly play. If I had that much free time I could rusty in two or three months myself.

I can only play if I'm having fun. Sometimes people make the game not fun. It's tough to ignore some of the bullshit people decide to cause. Forums are the biggest contributor to inactivty in both tankpit and utanks imo.

Usually it's a few bad apples on the forum. If we want the game to grow we should have a welcoming committee, not a flame fest. Ragging on people with the intention of making them better rarely works. I wonder how some people have any friends in real life the way they lash out on here. Personally I just ignore them, but you're right, negativity is like a rampant infectious disease in which I would rather not partake, but sometimes it gets the best of you. The game is supposed to be fun and getting flamed isn't fun at all. Anyway good luck on rusty, you said you'd be the first to do it and it seems that you're about to make it so.

El's the mister miagi of bfu. Always comes through with the zen-like posts. Its much needed. And I agree, I try not to let my temper flare up or let any of the trolls getting under my skin, but sometimes you gotta let the rage and hate out just to ease the pressure, otherwise i might face punt a child when i see one on the street.

Everyone gets angry, it's absurd to think everyone can maintain their cool 29/8. If you feel yourself about to face punt a kid on the street, you might want to buy a punching bag. Anger usually spawns and feeds more anger. Not all, but most of the time, when people 'vent' it only leads to more venting and ranting which turns into hatred of your fellow man. We're all human, and nobody is perfect; most times when we rage we forget about that. If we treat only our friends with human decency and kindness, what reward is there in that? Search kindness on this forum and see how many times it comes up. There is an interesting experiment. Do a search for different positive and negative terms within the forum and see what you come up with. My hypothesis is that we need to change the way we treat each other.

Once again, congratulations on shiner Hurley, no doubt you'll be an animal in the coming months :).
