Orgin Of granddaddyPURP

Let me straighten this out for whoever wondering/lying on who granddaddyPURP is; my old tanks didn't stand out, last long, I didn't talk to many people or post on the forum much. No I'm not this great well-known old player on a secret tank which most believe but I've always played well and fair but never got the recognition because I had a terrible internet connection. The only tanks that might remember me are silentsnake1124, omega and Nas from apps. That is all :hammertime:

Yeah, your beasting anyway, keep it up looks like you me and hunter going back and forth and running away with it right now, but im only keeping up because if the mass hours I'm playing. I have always just raided or been raided, today was the first time I actually tried to pph to pass you, and I did :) Now you just need to stay out for 2hours and not re-pass me lol

Yeah I got bulb on main name so I been trying to get that guy up and help the blues out...I don't seem to be helping much tho lol. I still play him every once in a while, but I got so much stuff to do during week i don't have time. Purple seems to have picked up alot of help tho

Lol. i don't "pph", i just play for fun, i didn't even know i was in the hunt for #1 til you guys told me. Is pph another term for faking? Also, u said that today was the first time u pph to pass me. What about u shooting a colonel as serg for 2 hours, was that not pph to pass me?

Actually if you play simply to constantly be shooting someone, then you are in fact doing a form of "pph." PPH is simply Points Per Hour and it's a way to reprsent gain over time spent playing. Yes, most people think of pphing as faking, but honestly I pph and I've have yet to really fake with anyone. I'm constantly going for kills and I only choose to play when there are people in to shoot and I know will shoot back a fair amount. I don't want to waste my time chasing people, I don't want to waste my time mining bases, and I don't want to waste my time just sitting in the game. I don't play as much as I'd like to, so when I do, I want it to count. Thus, I pph.

TL;DR - Most people pph whether they think they do or not.

So what's your definition of faking? I always thought it was fighting without killing being the objective. Like fighting in the water. I realized a long time ago by playing fair and not doing the things most hate, i can't compete with the majority. Besides pph/faking is really boring to me. :shrug:

I only consider faking in the context of tournaments. Two players having significant advantage over others to win a cup.

In regular play, I do pph all the time when there isnt a raid taking place. Yes it is quite boring, it is nice to see your numbers go up. Anyways, i kind of gave up the pph anyway, or your so called faking. I only got about 12 hours, some of you are close to shining sword already.

Yes, your definition of pph is correct, I am using PPH wrong its simly because of the 1v1ing only in utanks and the refusing to take raids and saying its a PPH tank made PPH loose all meaning to me. Faking is planned fighting, or like you said just fighting for points not intending to take the kill. 1v1 and shit is boring to be, I was just tolf that you have been spotted 1v1ing a lot, but that doesn't bother me, like you I play for fun.

The shooting col at serg was a joke, I didn't even pass you it was to throw you off playing as much so I could shiner at #1 lol but Hunter took care of that by playing 3 straight hours after he passed me giving me not enough time to re-pass before shiner lol

Yea i do 1v1, there aren't raids going 24/7. I always go for the kill, i've killed 1v1 crazy enough even in r&s. I always plant mines and take fuel b4 they can get it and etc., in hopes they'll slip up playing cocky or pushing it to the limit like i do. N nice tactic lol. I think hunter is gonna hold that spot for awhile

Faking is simply when two people openly say "We're just shooting each other for points."

I'm saying that you can play to kill people and still be "pphing." I told you PPH means Points per Hour. So as long you're shooting someone while you're playing, then you're pphing.
