Yeah me and sylar had a lengthy discussion in x5 chat. I made a point of differentiating connection vs glitching. Apparently it ddnt get through. Sylar didnt you even say yourself that connections 5mbps and above dont really matter anyway because beyond 5mbps the peed change is un noticable? I'm pretty sure that's true too. If a game sends out a signal at 5mbps, whether you can download it at 10mbps is irrelivent because you are still only goning to get it at 5. Then we went into why he wants to use it so much. He views it as progression in the game. However I argued that progression is only through new unique playing styles, not through exploitation of glitches. Then he said, that everyone can do it so it's fair. But take for example if by punching in a select key sequence before a shot you could delete someone's tank (hypothetical purposes only, probably cant happen). Now if that ability was in every dtt but only a few could do it, would that be legal? I hope the answer is no, but my point is clear.

I came up with that it comes down to honor. Still pretty much a stalemate though. He didnt concede a bit.

BF-X5 Version 1.008 is better anyway. Never tried 1.009 but there's too many features that I don't approve of.

there is a diff between 5 and 10 mbs...I used to b on 7 mbps and now i'm on 10 mbps and there is a noticable difference.

an yeah about that. And1 you got me mixed up. I said 5mb's is a huge difference against 1mb. But when you have like 5 mbs vs 7mbs, theres not a noticeable difference. I wouldnt know anything higher than that, but im sure 10 mbs does have a difference over 5, etc.

Yes you guys are right, I never denied it was an advantage. I hate how you are all repeating the same things. But if we were all playing on the same dtt, its not an unfair advantage.

But, for the juices sake, I wont map glitch on pineapple, since thats the only tank I play I guess the rest of you guys are safe. But trust me, too many people know how to map glitch now, I give it a few months before its wide spread. Alot of people were against x5 when it was leaked, and now look at it, its the norm.

yeah I can see where everyones coming from on how its not legit and everything, dont worry fellas, I stopped it awhile ago. I guess I was defending it for the sake of arguing.

And no, i dont need any advantages, considering i learned to map glitch a few weeks ago, and thats when I played like 5 minutes a day. SO the advantage gained was extremely slim.

Uh... Dark Frost. Me and brad went in crazy maze just for kicks about 2 years ago to see what x5 could really do to a site player. We went into one of the mazes with one on x5, the other on site. We could started to lag eachother by moving around the mazes, and lets just say that I could lag him to the point where as a guest I could shoot him until he died before he came out of the lag. Tell me SH would be any different. Seriously. Most logical people they would say "hmmm I guess site really is that slow compared to x5", but no, not you.
