PROPS/Call OUT Raid Thread (DISCUSSION)

well since ive died like 1500 times in all reincarnations of the game, this time around i will still be taking all action on my new tank, but my main goal is to survive rather then take as hard as possible. on deva i will still take crazy risks and play wreckless though :bendover:

People always tell me I take 1 too many shots. Mike (carnage) was the first one to tell me on F-71 Blackbird. Sherman told me the same the other day. I switched it up a little bit and I've actually been much happier with way my recent takes have gone.

glad i was able to help make the game more enjoyable though, i too have been working on taking less risks, shit's hard when you're just so used to taking your fuel down to certain points. i still fuck up all the time lol prolly gonna be another 200+ hours before my trigger finger settles and i stop taking so many dumb risks that ultimately get me killed

i need to take the same advice i gave to honor... especially since people don't know how to give raids any more. i take way too many shots and get way too low in unpredictable situations.

just not having fun any more, i want to take a raid for once. not watch 4 people land and drive on my screen every single screen resulting in me getting killed by turn delay. (usually by a fucking general)

it feels retarded to teleport so early, but i guess i have no choice with the competency level of raiders these days if i don't want to die.

+10 me for moving all the fuel in the nile's river next to borders/obstacles, opening all the fuels now reachable by land/obstacles to be redistributed around the map. was prolly like 50k+ fuel trapped in water lol

map feels much more wet now :) took like a half hour. fucking maintance :\

unfortunately i didnt play much after clearing the water, so i didn't really benefit from it at all, so hope you all enjoyed it if you played.

have fun with your new tank hurley. try and look at it as a mistake if you die. I dont understand how some people can play thousands of hours and not even have a single fun tank in their repertoire. inb4 sherman tells me how fun it is to die thousands of times and refill his equipment for the reps.

it will be multiple mistakes if i die. without coordinated team raids sticking to you at all times as sherman said it's ridiculously easy to not die. even if i take a 5v1 from a team, im going at it ultra conservative.

SQUIDs? I'm fairly skeptical the leader of a team that hasn't played for 10+ years would just 'appear' then necro his old team with what are apparently newschoolers that can raid half-decently.

It's probably just that guy I was talking to the other week who said he'd be making a new orange team :laugh:

Don't know who that is, but I'll let my brother know he sucks. You just dissed SQUID2's (EvilCookie) bf skills haha. It's okay, he does suck. It's been 13 years and he hasn't gamed at all since then.

FYI SQUID6, SQUID3, and SQUID1 are all original SQUIDS. Think what you want of it, but I just thought it'd be fun to have a casual raiding team. The old days were fun as heck and I randomly was thinking about BF and came looking to see if it was still was around. Re-made my tank several months ago, hit general in 2-3 hours, didn't touch it since until a few days ago. Obviously there's no way to truly bring back the SQUIDS. There's not enough players nowadays and most of the legends are long-retired. That doesn't mean we're not going to pwn, because we are.

So FYI, I (FeRocIouS WhaLe), EvilCookie, and our youngest brother are going to be playing this tank from time to time. I don't expect to be half as good as I used to be. I don't have the time for it. Just looking for casual fun.

What elliot said. But as my title of RECON i can't help but be a little suspicious of squids popping up in the timing that you guys did. A lot of people like to play old tank names like theyre the real thing. Sort of like how a certain player has tried to make it look like RTH is back by playing tank names from that theme cause it was his fathers team in BF...... Then there's other players who take old names and play like shit on them like the fake SoMeBoDy and -mAsTer aDmiRal - etc... Anyone can look up the history of BF via the team thread and claim shit and tanks these days.

But again if it's really you guys then welcome, but myself and I'm sure some others might hold some reserve for a while. :)
