Markers on map screen

This has been submitted for :lb: .

Whenever I find a bunch of EQ on a screen that I don't need or a ferry that I may want to return to. I always think it would be a good idea if you could flag/mark that location on the map. So that you could see the location from the "map" screen. I would personally use it all the time.
It could be used for a variety of ways, those ^ are just the obvious ones. You could also make a mark on the map if a particular screen had a bunch of fuel that was in the 400s.

It is not an overly complicated idea, but I haven't seen it suggested here before.

this is a great idea. make the marker an equipment, we could call it like... a beacon or something.

This is another one that, for me personally, falls under "skills a player should try to learn: map awareness"

My tactic has been to take a mental snapshot of wherever/whatever it is and to try to not let myself forget it. I either memorize the coordinates or the defining features of the map (mountains/water). It works pretty well, and I think that the players that do this better than me really do gain a discernible advantage
