Would it be possible to have a raid clock or something that determands who has the best raid. All i hear is i am the best raid taker from everyone but there is no way to prove it. Maybe a damage meter or like i said before a raid clock. Maybe when someone says "come get me" and 4 or more different tanks shoot at this one person the clock starts. We would need to find away around running. but, then would could have a leader board or who is the best. How long how much damage and what rank they were at. I feel this would permote more raid taking and encurage others to take raids that might not have before.

Thoughts?

The idea isn't bad but there would be a lot of kinks to work out. Plus SW has stated he doesn't really know if he wants to include raids in anything official TP wise, considering that they are more of a community idea than a built in game requirement/philosophy.

the problem with this specific set of ideas is it encourages 1 type of raid take; the passive/pussy 1 shot mini-marathon. and by no means is doing this indicative of anything "best".

i'm all for looking into new ways to stat track, leaderboards for different things, "achievements", etc, but this specific set with the "clock" angle presents the above problem, and from a conceptual perspective, what troy said applies.


also, a little ironic that beta runner wants raid taking metrics in play, but the people who actually take raids have to remind that it might be off-base because of the precedent it implies, as troy stated.

Seb and I were working on a mathematical formula at one point to determined a "rating" system for any given raid. There are a lot of variables to consider. Refining that formula and actually implementing it into the game somehow would be something you would have to pay someone to do, in my opinion. I am, however, in favor of this idea. I wish I would have made the time a year ago to finish this project. Seb and I were onto something monumental. It would be an honor to work with him again on that project and confer with SW about the final equation we come up with.

I think it would have to be based on damage taken, shots fired and how long you last time wise. IDK the math behind it but i think this could be possible.

On a side note. Why cant we change are battle plates as i call them as back in the day? I am sick of the drab greenish type thing. I was my USA or canada one back :(

Battle plates = the thing the goes around the bottem of the screen for map radar and mines.

not going to lie i miss these aswell. I want my orange one back.

you guys think that SW could get it done sometime soon :(. I hope he reads these threads.
