extend top 25 to 50

as the title says. the lists are getting very tough, not that thats not a good thing. However, adding another 25 spots where someones placement will be tracked allows 25 more people to stay motivated to make those passes.

Id suggest it being done as a second page. as in, when you go the the top 25 page is shows the top 25 with a page 2 underneath it to show 26-50. it still reserves prestige for being on the front page.

eventually this can be done up to whatever number, say 100, in 4 pages. Tracking progress and comparing that with others near your position is what motivates people to play even more to maintain or progress their ranking.

just a small change that could help the game in some way.

Personally I see no cons in it. and i think it extending to 100 is reasonable. It definitely gives a little more purpose to those newer players trying to move up, and possibly an ego boost for them seeing them on the lists.

QFT. Plus, people would stop bitching that it doesn't get updated on the daily. That thread is mind numbing for me just to look at it. Props to everyone who's kept it updated thus far.

I think combining this idea with mine being that the list gets updated in real-time instead of every 24 hours at 8pm eastern time would be mint! I don't see any con's in these ideas only improvements to the game!

Well a con to the real time updating is having a chance to put some hours on the next guy you just passed. If someone sees theyve been passed the second it happens they can get in and make it hard to put some time on em. If They wait a day and then realize theyve been passed they gotta just hope it wasnt by much. And no one here can say there isnt numerous ppl around that would sit with that screen loaded on their monitor all the time to watch if they got passed, we all know theres quite a few ppl who would fit this description lol

if youre against the secretism that some love. It goes either way is what I was tryina say but terribly worded and drug on. Some ppl would like to make the pass, put some hours on it and think about how the next guy feels trying to get it back, vs. passing them and having them come running in cause they saw it update the second it happened and having to fight it out for a spot.

idc either way, just my thoughts (I dont even play lawl)

usually when sw has no input he likes the idea but doesnt want it implemented because its on the 'list of a million things that are obvious'
