AirWalk Closing in on Practice Shining Sword

Postby The_Revelation » Wed Mar 05, 2014 12:57 am

You heard me right. It has taken many grueling hours, some fun battles and costed the lives of many bots. I am beginning the count down now, as I am 4/5 the way there.

Those interested in knowing if my time has been spent solely focused on killing bots, the answer is no. When Practice was initially opened there was a lot of activity so the first 40-50 hours had a real mix of bot killing and player vs player battles. The last 40-30 hours has been 90% bot killing though. Some time actually spent helping what seemed like legit noobs too.

I will be updating this thread as I continue to beast my way to my personal goal of 100 hours, only then will I truly be the most "practiced" player in Tank Pit. :tehfunny:

I was thinking same thing. I assumed people had done it in battlefield - but I couldn't remember how many and if anyone ever got to :battered: or even :rusty: ?

I remember getting in the top 20, but I cannot remember how many hours it took.

Good stuff man! I was waiting to hear just how far ahead of me you really were. I moved into #2 about 2-3 weeks ago, a night or two after you and I fought (while I was #3) for like 5-10 minutes. Haven't played since like Feb 20 though since I was on vacation til yesterday. I had a shiner on - R2A - Malicious in BF that I got in mid 2007 I believe, finished around #5-7 IIRC (was deleted in the mass deletion of Oct '07).

I've got some interesting facts about passes/player positions that I might as well share now, I'll do so in your practice top 20 thread, and leave you with this for now:

As well as wishing you good luck on your way to your shiner. :shiny:

@if anyone battied in practice before, I was extremely close to rusty in the old practice. I purposely stopped playing to not get it, same as in iceland. I was in the high 490s in both. Sad right ;l I never liked rusty swords.

I always thought it was ugly. I never had a guilty conscious about anything. I had every SH that came out, including ones that were made specifically for people who paid for it to be private lol. I even gave my tanks away for a while cause I just didnt care, and the person I gave them to, an irl friend of mine, SHed all the time on it. I didnt, nor do I, care one bit lol. I just never wanted that shitstain sword, it was ugly as fuck and batty was nice.

you obviously didnt want the award because you played like a faggot. its ok, i bought runescape shit, making me not care about that game. when you cheat in a game, it no longer means anything to you. we are both experienced enough gamers to realize this.

i had Silent Hill Downpour within the first few months it came out. played on hardest storymode/enemies. got like 90% through the game and got stuck at a point and didnt beat the game because i made my friend google how to beat the part i was stuk at. this was while i was in colorado. left me with no motivation after that to finish it...w.e

lol it had nothing to do with playing like a faggot. I seriously dont know how anyone could have taken the game that seriously. I had SH, I had TH, I had all the DTTs, I enjoyed playing practice etc etc. I did what was fun, I played all the maps and multiple colors. I just thought rusty looked ugly and no life-like. It was that simple.
