How to correctly tag a raid on someone your own color
Since 90% of this forum is retarded and doesn't understand how to do this I'll write a few simple steps.
1. Fuck off completely and don't be anywhere near the raid take. Obviously the most preferred by the raid taker (except noobs with pre-radar friends) but sometimes there isn't many others in the map to shoot at so I'll start over with the real list.
1. Never teleport onto a 500+ fuel! Fucking duh?! If your the same color and its already radared on your map its on their too and they'll try to teleport onto it because they need it. You don't need it, you shouldn't even be that low and if you are too damn bad. Land somewhere that isn't a 500+ fuel and radar, not fucking difficult.
WHY IS IT NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THIS?
2. Always stay BEHIND the raid, meaning you should be the LAST person teleporting almost every single time. You have no business teleporting being there ASAP, your just shooting the raid in the ass to get some points (unless you actually have people to counter). Being behind the raid you can figure out where to go for fuel meaning NOT IN THE DIRECTION OF THE TAKE. Sometimes its hard to tell but figure it out and if you steal is say My bad or something.
3. Stay off the raid takers screen as much as possible. Shoot the people furthest from the raid IE snipe them. You get more turns because you have less people on your screen, you can possibly kill a raider, and your teammate doesn't get lagged. Win fucking win.
4. Don't drive until your teammate has teleported away or at least make small moves, your lagging them while they are taking, IE being an ASSHOLE, don't do it.
Not difficult concepts to grasp but clearly people have no understanding of how to do this because daily I get fucking 1k fuels jacked by retards on this board let alone TPBB kids.
Someone can clean up all the fucks if they care to but each of them is needed right at this moment.
Feel free to add to the list.

I agree with some of your points but why does one side always have to lay down? I cannot leave a team mate, pimpson or not, out to dry lol. I feel like the standard should lean more towards the "team work" method. Yeah excessive/over intentional pre mine/radar is whack on all accounts, but beyond that let's duke it out...

most of these points are very biased towards a one dimensional playstyle that shit community created and pushes on virtually everyone. The only thing i agree with is not moving while on their screen, and maybe not teleporting to 500 fuels (in their immediate area)
Things like dont be in the raid shooting the mobbers, or be the last person on the screen, or even something like radaring is absolutely terrible playstyles in terms of a game that is basically kill or be killed. this fixation on making everything tougher and limiting the amount of ways anyone can play is only going to hurt the game long term.
heres a better option, dont complain. stop being so fixated on making this game a one vs all, when in reality its a us vs them. If you want to go sit in a corner while one color takes control and kills everyone and eventually empties the map you might as well not even enter. Instead, maybe you should work together to ensure that your color triumphs. your mindset is essentially what leads to one sided mobs, considering the only other option under your preferred playstyle is to either sit and wait to die or swap colors and kill your selfish ass quicker.
If/when I did play, I didnt sit back and allow any other color take control of the map. thats a nooby selfish tactic only you pseudo faux hardcore look at me players embellish. Instead, hop in the raid, teleport with the person whos taking to confuse the mob. when you need fuel, teleport outside of the area somewheres and radar your own fuel, in turn uncovering more fuel for the target. teleport directly in the mob to block as many shots as possible, shoot the lowest mobber to force him away from his group. Play like a god damn team mate. Dont go and cry on the forums because all of a sudden someone stole your obviously choreographed fuel and you died 'prematurely'

Agree with your points tm. I don't and will never leave a teammate hanging to get slammed by himself,i always jump in the raid and try to help out. Unless of course you're a dick and never help me then you're on your own.

the problem with this game like jordan said is too much discussion goes into this game instead of playing it, even though i follow the rules of the first post naturally. however this game phails anyway and was only played for nostalgia until nostalgia runs out so. go out there and play the 1000s of better games that exist

PRIDE

cluster mobs might be one of the most fun aspects of the game. its just total mayhem and war and if you're not careful you can be turned on instantly. lots of people can die easily in that kind of shit good players or bad. just shots firing on anyone from any direction is loads of fun

I mainly get pissed when I get fuel jacked by teammates or people I know have good intentions. If you're trying to help out, please be careful with your moves...one misfuel and the raid taker could be dead.
But if it's just some asshole troll, that just comes with the territory. Every game has them and you can only hope they get embarrassed when the shit turns on them.
These "90 percent of the community blah blah blah" and "96 percent of the community blah"... just stop with that bullshit. It seems like every thread these days is everyone agreeing that the game sucks because of everyone else. It's an easy way to point fingers at everyone and act high and mighty without actually calling someone out.

Snakesgonsnake, in particular Tiger Snake who've I've repeatable bitched about off the forum, hence nachos knowing exactly who I'm talking about. Happy?
I half agree with cujo and jordan. I'm not saying completely abandoned the teammate but the point I'm trying to emphasize is your job as a "teammate" of the same color is to 1. not get your teammate kill. and 2. help get raiders off the raid taker by shooting the low player. Methods can be different but I was basically idealizing the situation because I was pissed and just wanted everyone to fuck off at that point.

You're first point on how to properly tag a team mates raid was to 'fuck off completely'
I believe you were just pissed that someone stole a fuel and you died but still, let's remember that veteran players are gonna hold some value in their opinion and threads like this May skew the mindset of newer guys who are looking to be 'respected'. I agree most players don't understand how to properly play against a mob but in very different ways than the op (see my first post). If everyone played that way the odds of massive one sides mobs and multi color raids wouldn't be as prevalent and the game would actually be a bit more enjoyable. It's too bad the general consensus is that all players must die against odds unless your name is warrior or Sean.

Not the best advice, I'll agree, but I really don't have much else to say about that.
People worried about rank on their main tank preserve it by color flipping is the reason there is mobs. People wanting to rank up in general is the reason there is mobs. Multiple colors in BFU chat calling on someone is the reason there is mobs (see purple and orange raping eclipse on red while the map is entirely mined purple and orange). Warrior, hurley, cujo, etc don't give a fuck about rank or the mob and will shoot back at it if they feel like it. Noobs are too worried the mob will turn on them so they don't shoot at it and contribute to the mob instead, that's why there's mobs. Me telling everyone to fuck off and let me take a raid is not the reason there is mobs, it may contribute slightly to the mentality of "me against the world" but the above reason are 90% of the problem.
Let me add one more to this list.
Not letting people fill is the reason there is mobs. Nobody has any respect for shooting off all your duals anymore, its all "take it until you die" which is absurd unless your one of the few who can do so. I will leave a raid if I think a player has done well enough and is shooting singles regardless of how many people he's fighting. Even if its just a little 2 or 3v1s if they went hard, I'll let them go, I don't think they deserve to die. Its hard enough to get some noobs to fight 1v1 let alone with 2 or 3 and believe it or not, I've seen those players fight me more 1v1. I partially think it's because I don't harass them until they're dead but call me crazy if you don't think they remember you weren't an asshole. Honestly following someone until they're dead is asinine way to play but too many people just purposely kills noobs back to serg repeatedly because they need to rank. I'll stop raiding vs good players too. I don't know how many times fighting warrior, cujo, hurley, etc I leave the raid because they've been shooting singles and I know they can do that all day where people will constantly follow them around regardless of what their eq situation is until they're dead. Its stupid but people want to rank up so they'll do whatever they feel like.
