FYI - This will be the first tournament since the major updates... hope it runs smoothly. Unfortunately, I won't be around at this time in case anything breaks.

First tourney Ive played since Utanks so its been a few years since Ive played Battlefield/TankPit lol..

I was filling when you passed me but was almost full to 100 duals at captain, wasn't scurred, good to see you in game though. how i shot tank was just hopping in mobs at the end and not even firing. Not surprised there was a major. typical TP though.

My first one i was able to actually complete. Hard to do so with three kids and a wife.

Glad to see a new winner! Grats bd on gold homedawg. Unfortunately, wont be able to make any tournaments until further notice because of unreliable internet.

That should give you more chances to win (sigma)!

I tried out a few new ideas tonight:

1 - I tried to conscript a bot to help me fill. Found it harder than I thought, as I have to manage scrolling up and down, looking for "out of the way" and "use the radar" while trying to manage where I am going myself. Bot drove into a ditch somewhere to get stuck or onto a screen of an experienced player who just jacked my equipment. Fucked it hard - got a 12 min fill, compared to 9-10 min when I am just filling alone. HILARIOUS

2 - I know that what's his name and Beaver leave their homing shots on for the whole time, so I tried it myself. Ended up with 59k on my LT instead of my usual 69k (when I PPH hardcore with only duals). Dropped 10k of points (that's a lot), in exchange for more kill potential. I went onto a lot of "mob" and "death" screens and I smacked anyone who was low with homing shots, hoping someone would screw up at some point. It didn't happen. I think I'll go back to my old method of conserving shields + conserving homing shots, so that I only pick up duals + extra radars when I refill, and try to use homing shots when it's clear that someone will die.

3 - Tried to scretch my equipment (ERs). Ran out of ERs by 55 min. Stupid. Going back to Kirby's 2-ER-per-min-left rule

SW - do you look at the logs for every kill? Say there are 9 captains and 1 major...that's 9 + 2 = 11 kills that you audit for?

What if someone dies to a homing shot? Like in the 90 min orbital tournament, I teleported too far, landed on a fake fuel, didn't have my shields on, and OSPF ROUTING killed me with a homing shot. How do you prove if that's intentional or not?

Also, what if someone just lags during 1v1 PPH and they tried to turn on shields, but the server didn't receive their response, so it looks like they just sat there and let themselves die?

Just curious how you do it

i caught him in the middle running around trying to find fuel don't think that was the one that was a fk was probably the one before it. didn't he die like 3 times in that tourney or more?

Sorry, SW, but your detection system must be flawed. I did not give a free kill. This was my first tournament in probably months, and I gave up pphing and started chasing kills for 20 minutes. I ran out of shields by the last 10 minutes and found myself low on fuel while trying to kill someone in a mob when I found myself getting too low, so I teleported away. I was chased by "Joan of Arc" for two screens while I ran and radared for fuel, but he got me in the end.

I'm curious as to how your system thinks its a free kill.

This also brings into question the legitimacy of previous "free-kill" bans...
