Although it was fitting with 987 having the last post in this section for 4+ years :hah:

, I had to bump it cause I can't see a more appropriate section for this.

A month or so after TP came out I was determined to find links to my old cups. With the help of someone (can't remember who it was), I came across a lot of working links for even the earliest years of Battlefield Tourneys.

These ones all still seem to work for the most part, so enjoy.

I don't know where the link for the results in between these are, but when I checked last week with Weekend Nachos clicking on most, if not all, of the results in this range seemed to return broken links. I could be mistaken though. Check out archive.org and type in playbattlefield.com and play around with the captures in this date range (mid '04 - early '06)

Also if you find a that some of the links in these ones are broken, let me know and I'll remove them. I didn't look through every single result, just a few. Remember to go back after clicking each result before looking for the next one.

I have all of 2003 and most of 2004 saved on my computer and backed up safely elsewhere. Planning to secure the rest of 2004 eventually.

since these are referring to BF tournaments only :rolleyes:

I even threw a link down to it in the topic that nachos started where this kind of stuff was coming up, so that people could find it easier.....

I just went through some of the oldest tournament results VK posted.. Pretty insane these are freakin archived, GJ Jeff.. Going back clicking the results feels like a time machine haha!

I sure did have bad luck cupping that tank =\

look at that, the snakes cheating back in the day.. who would ever have imagined? :laugh:

One thing I noticed going through the old results was, alot of players used to play the color they play as their MAIN in tournaments as well.

That's almost always what I try to do nowadays. Would be nice if others did as well.

I just found a ridiculous calendar printout I made for Tournaments in March 2008 while digging through my drawers cause I have to clean out my room for the move.

Holy time machine!

Snoop, sgt fire, brianm, strider hyriu, war machine, red death, spike, Thomas Ed, shadow, yoda, flys, TFS, teamxkiller! wow before half these guys had shiners and cups at all.

SCSCII was REDRUM 2

I remember Killz being an absolute monter at tournaments later on. I somehow beat him once and people were blowing up my ICQ with how did you beat him!?!? did you take a frree kill?!

big bonus points to anyone that can find my cup on c-dub! it was a silver cup and it happened somewhere from 05-07 not sure exactly when... id look for it but i dont really know how to navigate this thing.

I just went through about 100 pages and couldn't find anything of mine or even REDRUMS at all. I saw a few bugs, STRIKES, SQUIDS and CaRs.
