awful fill but kinda wasnt paying attention, almost quit before i finished filling and probably shouldve not even bothered. rank up and somehow get to 5th in points? and by the time i get rolling at the 30 min mark my computer battery dies. takes 10 min to reboot and get internet access so by that time i was done for. almost died a few times and im out of ers now. good luck to all and congrats to the winners.

pretty much same for me started to leave was one lieu by time i finished filling, kept missing kills missed I think MZ to eclipse, Tangent Q low, cdub l wouldn't die lol and then at end killer12 low q i left and he came back and bf4 got kill. i stopped about 12mins left and just keep refreshing map trying to find a mob to try and get kill but really wasnt any that i saw.

Still pretty good tournament for me getting better with the pph type crap and maybe can soon cup without getting really lucky lol

I didn't play but Grats Liquified! Apps tournaments can be so random with the strategy that wins. Good job with tops PPH.

So herb was what's his name. He says "he moved for fuel, I shot him, he shot me, my next shot killed him. On my screen he just moved to an open spot so it seemed like he went for fake fuel. I don't even know who that guy is but he's legit in the main map."

That isn't quite true... From the logs: They were fighting for awhile before. Warm Beer moved. what's his name shot him twice. He shot what's his name back. what's his name shot him. He shot back. what's his name shot him and killed him. No shields involved. They both had nearly full EQ at the time.

Suspicious, but far from conclusive - on to the next one.

Warm beer may very well be one of the select few that have a slower connection speed that myself.
It is my belief that when he first says yes to the java download his/her tank name is cold beer. Now what happens is it takes so long for the down load to complete, by the time he has entered the game his name has changed to warm beer.
I have witnessed this tank getting owned due to lag several times it can and does get deactivated 1v1. The guy is legit in main map never quits , plays hard ,props to him.

One for the lovers of conspiracy theories . Herb was krusty . Krusty is from England .they drink warm beer over there, (stupid I know). Krusty deactivates warm beer . So it’s plainly obvious that warm beer is code for ,krusty’s free tournament kill.

I had three pieces of toast and a juice,coffee to get through while playing as i wanted to leave the second it finished for a prearranged race day, crumbs every where. sticky fingers , almost died to some blue cap while scrambling for three pages insufficient looking for fuel with no ers.Shields did help, that map was dry at the end .

I actually started the tournament looking to win. I REALLY did not want to die the first time but I had 0 armor left. At this point I had no chance of winning but there were still 10-15 minutes left. I figured I just jump back in and play recklessly. Of course with 0 armor and as a sergeant, this was almost suicide. Everyone wanted the kill. But I wasn't going to win anyways. In short I started messing around because I just didn't care if I die. I do have a preference for who kills me though. I don't know who the red tank was but he had the most points. I like that personally so what the heck. Plus I don't like weekend_nachos because this guy plays low rank during regular games. Nothing personal. I just didn't want to die to him.

I understand the spirit of the rule is to catch cheaters. However, my act is simply playing recklessly (and probably stupidly) when I have nothing to lose. But this does raise a whole series of questions. Do you think that banning my action goes beyond preventing cheaters? Do you think that it forces players to play a certain way? Most importantly is it better for the dynamics of the game? My only other possible action is to just quit. Would players have to worry about not being overly aggressive for fear of being misconstrued as giving free kills? Could I not move my tank in a certain way if I know I'm going to die? And how do I even actively "target" another player to kill me? The only way for me to not "help" any player would be to sit there and not move. And doing so could be argued as giving free kill as it lacks effort to survive. The "no free kill" rule is well in the gray area between cheating and bad judgment. Is it right to punish the latter? On the flip side I've been criticized for being a coward and not staying to fight crowds. If I stay and die, would that be considered giving free kills?

Lastly do I not have the right to avoid being killed by certain people that I simply don't like?

First off, I was at low rank because I take raids, something you tend to quit out on. Anything more than a 2vs1, you run, so how am i supposed to rank when dudes like you refuse to die? Kind of a stupid logic you got going on, par for the course in this game. I watch you chase around the highest rank in map all day. Yeah, we get it youre preserving your awards and trying to get the best points what a shocker. Secondly, no one knew what tank i was playing until after the tournament, so how could you say you were avoiding dying to me when you had no idea who i was playing as? So essentially you specifically came back in to FK the highest points. And yes, I am classifying it as a free kill, you went to him with intent to die, therefore skewing the natural results of the game and bumping someone else from landing a cup legitimately. Sean isnt to blame, you are, fking is the same as cheating in that its aiding others to win instead of leaving it up to chance like it should be. FKing the highest in points bumps the newer players who lack the points skills from getting cups. So you're basically ruining the experience for lesser skilled players who can only cup on a ranking kill. You obviously should have at least some form of integrity seeing as you're not incompetent, why not do the honorable thing and leave after you die once when you know you dont have a chance? Who are you to decide that the person top in points needs to be the true winner? There is no grey area, its pretty cut in dry in the rules, dont hand out free kills, dont cheat, you get caught, you get banned. With that mentality i hope your ban stays in place.

Playing recklessly, although it's stupid, isn't classified as giving a free kill or cheating. It takes some risks sometimes to win a tournament anyways.

Purposely dying a second time or going up to give someone a kill regardless of if you know them or not is giving a free kill, thus cheating. I don't think there is really a gray line.

Kind of suicide in my opinion, which is kind of like giving a free kill. Today I saw 10 people die in raids of 6v1. Don't really understand why they tried because I thought they never had a chance. But people play whatever they like so I'm not going to judge.

As for free kills, I had a convo with the admin and it seems like what I should do is just quit if I have no chance. I'll do that next time. I don't like the fact that I can't dick around like a fool, but if that's the norm everyone agrees to then I'll go with it. Apologize for any misunderstanding.
