Past few months
There has been some really cool tourneys, where there is NO fks/ Q Low.
I want to thank SW, or who ever is keeping up with making the tournys more fair for us!
With that said, I hope that the community tankpit can respect the game more and stop quitting low and taking free kills, because YES it does make the tournys much more fun.

I think SW is responsible for this by banning players who break rules. But also this community who have, as a community, raised the bar for the standards of tournaments.
I also think that tournaments have been a blast! Its nice when the playing field is level for all players.

Tournaments have definitely been a blast, a ton of fun. Knowing that free kills are disallowed, and that violators will be banned, makes the tournaments a lot more fair, definitely, and motivates me to play.
Also seems that the caliber of players is increasing, as well. It's felt pretty competitive. Like the R&S tourney where only two people died (resulting in only two captains, and the highest PPH LT cupping) I felt that I've learned so much, improved so much compared to two months ago, but there is still much more to be learned!

This kind of approach and attitude towards the game is very refreshing. TankPit really does have so much potential with players like yourself. Now if only we could clone a hundred Sigmas and boost up activity in the game, hmm...

Here's the thing: If you want the negativity and fuckery to stop, you guys have to band together as a community to aid in it. Report what's bullshit and what's not. I have been doing this for a long time now and there have been some bans via my evidence.
SW probably doesnt play tourns much / if at all, and probably wont check unless someone comes to him about it. Now this doesnt mean blast him with IMs or w/e but post the suspects here and maybe hell get the time to do so and at least double check. If no one says anything then it makes it seem like everythings fine.

There is a lot of things that happen on the main map that a lot of us do not like and cant really do anything about IE qlowing.
When you see those offenses then you just name and shame them.
I do think that this forum should be listed on the main website so more of the noobs can join and see what the community is about.

quitting low is not against the rules. It has always been an option (since 1997) for noobs or players who choose to play like noobs :)

I may have misunderstood you. I thought you were saying we should complain about qlowing so that SW will take action/ban them. After reading it a few times, I don't really understand your point in relation to the topic.

Sorry I am drunk.
But, things happen and it has been happening since the start of BF history. If I get cheated out of a cup I really dont care anymore because I am an adult and this is just a game. Im glad SW is no longer a douchebag but its only a game to me.. :p

Good attitude to have. Sometimes what helps with that is taking victory in smaller feats like feeling accomplished with good EQ management or keeping up with the leaders at least in PPH.
Easier said then done though. If I devote an hour to something only to be cheated out of victory - its upsetting. Getting beat is one thing, getting cheated is another.
