Again, decent PPH: #1 lieutenant with 68,000 points. So I feel pretty good about my equipment management / PPH abilities. But there is a little something called a "kill" required to cup that I didn't quite muster... :facepalm:

No names that I will list, but if I get you low on fuel and low on shields, and you're running for your life, don't say "bye" 3x and then quit the tournament. Please be fair; you weren't going to cup with your PPH anyway. Back in the Levels tournament, I was #1 captain with 4 min until the end, and I still didn't quit low when I got mobbed (I died to the mob because I admit it when I have been defeated). Come on

that was fucking bullshit

god damn people there are other tanks around, raid them stop going for me. 1st time i died i was still in 4th with all the points i had... tried going for a kill to get to maj but just fell into another damn raid again that i think i took rather well with 0 shields the whole time.

whatever. best tourny i've had so far...

StanDarsh, I feel your pain, man. When I started competing in tournaments, there were definitely a few times where I died early. People remembered my name as an easy target, and from then onwards, everytime I just wanted a nice efficient 1v1 PPH session, guys from 3 different colors would show up and mob the shit out of me.

But later on, as my game improved, people mobbed me less and less. In fact, in Metropolis and tonight's Nile tournament, no one tried to mob me. I am not expert on this, but I think these might help:

1 - Try to keep your health as high as possible before you decide to snipe into a mob. I usually do a two-step: first I teleport like 2 screens away from the mob, on top of a fuel, to fill my health up to 95%+, and then second, I teleport 1/2 a screen away from the mob (I'll have 90%+ health), and then I'll start sniping into the mob from there. Even if people see me, they see my color is bright, so they have less incentive to target me (esp when the guy at the center of the mob is dark / losing shields fast)

2 - Increase your PPH #. I don't know how other people judge how "killable" a target is, but I will assume that a guy ranked #20 lieutenant is more likely to die than a guy who is #5 lieutenant. Even if the #20 is full on fuel, I will rather shoot at him and take chances / waste homing shots / give up PPH, to try to kill him, than the guy who is #5 (even if the #5 guy is dark / low on fuel). If you're the #5 guy, people just naturally think you cannot be killed easily, so they spend their time doing something more productive like refilling duals, or PPH'ing, and they won't mob you

3 - If you continue to die in tournaments (I did when I started), try playing an anonymous tank so no one knows who you are. Once you learn how to PPH better on your anonymous tank, go back to your main tank, and you will PPH to a high position, and discourage people from mobbing you again.

Again, I am not expert on this stuff. These are just some thoughts / opinions that I've put together, based on what I have observed over the past 20+ tournaments.

Ay sig sorry i havent been around much, new gig is tight and the place rules. I also got back into playing counter strike a bit. Its nice to play a game where faggots arent rewarded and revered and encouraged unlike here where people admit to cheating and are given 600 chances to continue being fags.

Aside from whatever tournaments i make it too i might be checked out of the game for a bit.

Im currently in the middle of pennsylvania camping and decided to take a look via phone whats been going on.

From what I read in the bfunity chat, there was no question on who played the tank. What you want me todo son, slap you thru the screen? I've beat you out at everything(and always have) so idk how you still play your ankle biter card.

Stan, nobody chats during the tourny, and you can often use it to spike activity in the map, there's never much raid calling in it, if ever... I know the other day me and another purple was in there making call outs, but it was more of a attempt to get more purples in to counter blues. It's a nifty feature to keep you informed so you don't look like this tool spamming up the thread. People check the forums, why wouldn't you check the chat? See ya soon!

Let me say theres a reason the TOP Legit players dont partake in the main chats. Its cancer for the game and i know some newer players left for that reason being the chats ruin the game play for them.

Cujo is soft and harbors cheaters and low quitters like a halfway house and has partook in shit himself. They love to coax anyone to be their followers. My advice to you stan ( kirby3000 ) dont listen to anyone but yourself, not me, def not cujo. Theres more reward personally for playing with your own goals and steering clear of this place and a good 80 percent of the players

Not real sure why you capitalized top like it was supposed to mean anything significant? I've seen you in most the chats I end up in, and until spermans rusty I wasn't in any except Springfield. I long avoided them because I just simply don't like being around or seeing the babble of people I do not like, I'd assume this true for many. Now I know how to mute and hide the chats, so they aren't nearly as much of a nuisance. If you come here to interact, I fail to see why you wouldn't expand your means of communication(entertainment?) Especially with how lame this place has been as of late(just got lamer now that we know your still alive)..
