color change?

For any players interested in switching the main color of their tank, we've added this option, similar to the option to change a tank name. Check the tank name or color change page for more information.


Wow, I am in shock. Game changer. Honestly, I did not see SW adding this option because I know he isn't into change. (imo this is a pretty drastic change to the game.)

Honestly i think its a nice and reasonable addition, with all the edit your own options taking place lately in game, tiles / name changes / hotkeys etc, it makes sense to have a color switch option as well. Its really no different than having a name change, and gives people an option to get off a color they dont like teaming with, i:e shithead bluewavers.

This really doesn't solve the problem as pretty soon the problem will just migrate to another color seasonally..

I highly doubt its going to be something thats used often at all. maybe the odd one or two people over time. I cant see many people switching left and right which seems to be the thought here for people. Name changes havent even occurred much.

I agree. You should be able to transfer awards as well. It only generates revenue for the game and gives motivation to players who otherwise wouldnt have it. Nothing that serious when you can go and change everything else. Of course only out of game specials could be transfered.

I did. Well, at least this is one of my ideas. :thumbsup:

It makes perfect sense. Why not be able to change to purple and InYoUrLeFtEyE or orange and lefty if I so please. It'd cost me but it'd be a hell of a lot quicker than starting a new tank from scratch.

Personally I don't think it's a horrible change. Some people regret picking blue for instance because too many noobs have taken that color. This gives people a chance to switch out without having to start over.

In real war people can defect, now they can in TP too. :)

As with tank name changes, it's costly enough that it won't be used too often.

Maybe it would be less confusing if tanks were only able to play one color... (no switching with distinct stats).
