I feel like award entries should be posted. I want to know what beat me out and learn how I can tweak my craft to ensure a win later on. People are awarded and then we never hear, nor see what they did to "Wow" SW. I can't be the only one curious as to what Beard's LB submission was, or what Generalsick could have possibly written to be the only one to have gotten a WC.
And don't say, "message them" because a lot of players don't communicate with one another. Think about the noobs that play the game as well that don't even know about the forum.

GeneralSick advertised the game on his gaming website with a banner, and across other ones as well.

Leads me to believe that not all entries are read. Seeing as his is something that is viewed and publicly talked about vs. a written submission via the tankpit website. I probably come off as "salty" or whatever you want to say but I felt my entries were stellar enough for at least a WC. I know the flood of entries is probably so crazy that most are over looked. I will never know.
What I wrote:
I recreated Eminem's "Lose Yourself" into a Tankpit rap. If you listen to the song and read along, it has the exact same tone as to what he says.
I wrote an in depth "letter" to my loved ones, as if I were in the pit for real. Referring to myself as a red tank and how enemy teams were trying to take me out (raids). The lively hood of trying to survive the heat of the desert and the swamps of R&S. The constant head throbbing of duels hitting my tank.. so on.

Anything related to reviews or articles about the TP is classified as a War Corespondent entry and is exactly what I did. You have won a award before This is my first time and probably last one and playing this game as a small child and till now was an achievement to earn.

Chill. First off, I'm not saying you didn't deserve an award by any means. Secondly, stories can, and usually are classified as an article; so, I followed the guidelines as well. I'm just saying that I'm willing to bet my entries, plus many other people's were probably not even viewed judging by only one being handed out. I will never know, and at this point it doesn't even matter anymore. I was just hoping for a little motivation to bring me back to playing.

I wish I knew which of my lightbulb entries won it for me. I submitted about 10 and they were all pretty simple, do-able changes.
Example: In-game chat messages which are team-only should be indicated by a colored background or icon.
Sure, the example is so simple it seems stupid, and it is.
(I doubt that's the winner, just an example of a simple, do-able suggestion for whoever was curious about the award).

I actually did like the Eminem song, I just didn't think it was quite up to standards for winning a WC. Maybe if the newsletter comes back and those kinds of things get posted in future, they can be reviewed for the award again. But then, the fact that it contained swearing and wouldn't be usable for that was kind of the final strike against it in my eyes.
No offense.
Just keep in mind that these awards are fully intended to be hard to win and that countless players have sent in countless submissions in the past without winning. Going in expecting to win something is setting yourself up for disappointment.
