tech issues

this is ArChAnGeL... orange major: single star, bronze tank. i keep getting some stupid error message where the game box is saying "Incompatible magic value 529205248 in class file tankpit/TPClient". i'm getting beyond frustrated with this :pissed:

. does anybody have any idea what's causing this and how to fix it? i'm having problems just entering to play the game.

tankpit 1: ArChAnGeL- :star1:

Wrath-

WaRhEaD- captain
jrc- captain

battlefield: cowboy- :star3:

yoooo pride what's up brother? nah man i dont have aim right now... i use to back when i was in bf full fledge. i use that windows live messenger right now though. i dont always get to play tankpit. i'm a fire fighter so i work 24 hours but i'm off for 48 hours.... but the 48 hours i'm off... i'm a fire instructor at the fire academy i graduated from lol. i try to find time to play the game i fell in love with as a young teen. my windows live name is s5jrc5s@hotmail.com.. add me if you want to buddy and we'll sure chat anytime. my internet isnt the greatest... my ping time is around 800-1000ms... so i apologize if i suck or dont wanna fight a big raid. i'll fight a 3on1 though.. cause i can still manage to teleport, get fuel, and still shoot back. yeah man i was "cowboy" that red general in crazy. i was number 7 general... then i died down and i started getting busy with highschool and working at that time so i kinda stopped playing. see you on the field bro!

btw.... yoooooo Nightwolf! long time no see bro! i remember you as a red general and we would team up and fight raids together bro... good times. Nightwolf+cowboy and karina... would fight all the billy's and Jaws (that guy was beast).

actually it seems to work once i uninstalled then reinstalled java.. but it's only working for now. i say this because i already un-installed once and then reinstalled java again and it was still giving me problems... but now for some reason it's working more consistantly. thanks guys i apreciate all of your help. hope to see you on the field, fellas. happy gaming

Devilspawn, i'm using internet explorer (9) i believe. once the error message is gone..... now the game screen is just blank where usually the map, world and forces, rank and name is empty.. like it wont load, but my java is working fine. if it's not one problem it's another. i'm about to lose all hope in this game

Most people use google chrome or Firefox, check them out. I had the same problem as you with Firefox and ie9 but google chrome has had no problems and seems faster than the rest anyway.

alright i'm on google Chrome now... lol it's actually much faster and it's been working too... thanks tons what's his name. btw, what's his name.. good fighting with you man. i like 1on1's with you... good exp for us both but it keeps it from being boring waiting for somebody to come in just to fight. i'm not gonna lie... it sucks to die but i choose to or else i'd run. i dont mind dieing so much just as long as people dont mind if i join in raids whenever i want to level because with my speed.. trying to fight a 1on1 for a kill... not gonna happen. hey warrior! sup buddy. i been seeing you in the field bro... you're serious business man.... handling those raids... impressive. keep it up buddy you'll be one of the greats. btw if you guys didnt know.. i'm the purple colonel named Wrath. i have a blue captain named WaRhEaD... i dont plan on using that tank anymore... if you want to kill it down so you can level up then that's cool.. just let me know. once it's down to recruit i'll delete that tank. debating on my jrc... red captain or not. Wrath and ArChAnGeL are my main tanks anyways. happy gaming

Don't just kill your captains down. When you see some raids happening especially team raids, hop on one of those tanks and take a raid or 2. Good practice. Nobody will respect you for just killing the tanks down, always go out with a fight :)

Also I doubt we have 1v1d much, I hate to 1v1 and after a short amount of time I usually tele way an kill bots or quit. After rusty I might make a tank that I care to pph on and see what happens but on Krusty it's more about taking and giving raids, racking play time.

Glad to see you enjoying the game and I'm glad google chrome helped you, I found Firefox faster for tankpit but it won't let me log into the site so I went with google chrome.

alright SW i'll try that bro. i apreciate all the help you guys have been giving. shows you guys care about others even if the issue is as small is mine. good to know there's decent people in the world still willing to put forth effort to help rather it's big or small. thanks guys! i'm here for all of you as well if ever needed. ps. how do i set up my little note at the bottom like you guys have that shows tanks, awards, and the game they were on? (i.e. tp1, tp2, and battlefield)

Go to your "user control panel" at the top and go to personal settings to set your signature.

okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk i'm having the very same problem again with 3 different browsers that i mentioned before. game simply wont load and i'm getting that error message. i have latest update of java. i uninstalled and reinstalled java 7 times in one day and still at end of day i was having problems still. maybe this is a sign for me to quit this game. this is getting very discouraging because nothing i do is working. :cry:

I had a similar problem with java on the laptop that i sometimes use, I found out that it was something recently installed that conflicted with java. I started uninstalling toolbars and the problem vanished, look for any irregular programs you have installed but dont use and remove it, you can also do a scan if you have ccleaner or start clearing your download history too if you're without. It may not solve the problem but it's worth a try.

alright silent i'll try that. it's like this thing is totally random. it messes up with 1 of 3 methods. simply wont load the applet (game screen shows up but no content). 2: i can click on my color to enter but it stays on that black screen with the yellow and white sentences. 3: stupid error message with that incompatible value mess or whatever it is.

you're right i'm going to start "cleaning" up my pc and see if that helps. i apreciate the help man
